6 seeds from one mystery mid bud

Day one put 6 regular seeds from midgrade bud in various sized cups. Watered a few drops into each. This is starting as t8 only. 2600k and 6500k on a diy grow shelf. 32w per lamp. Soil is mixed cotton burr compost, landscapers mix, and a 50/50 potting soil mix. Half MG Seed starter and half light potting soil. Lets see what comes up.

Good luck on this grow. You off to a start. You can always tell people you growing tomatoes.

Day 2 nothing doing. Added a few more drops to soil.

Day 3 nothing doing. A few more drops of water added.

Day 4 6/6 seedlings are above the soil. Water a few drops and kicked on the T8.

Those are there for the housekeeper. She will see tomato seed packets and think thats whats doing.

If it wasn't heavily seeded there is a good chance they all will be female.

So i got 10g from a buddy and it was all clean except one flower. Had 6 in it.

Good chance of all fems. Most likely due to a late nanner or two being thrown.

yup..sounds like you may have some fems.. did you happen to notice any small yellow banana looking things in the bud while you broke it up?

No... But.. I do use a Viking Axe grinder. It does not break seeds. I do know what the nanners look like and i didnt notice any but i may well have ground em and i just dumped it in my dugout.

Im trying to find out what strain this is. That would help me care for them better. Last time i asked he wasnt sure but would find out. It was pretty purple looking. Dense. Had a heavy stone. Indica dominant far as i can tell but im far far far from an expert lol.

Keep it super simple and less is more is about the best advice.

Don't buy into all the cannabis specific stuff and bloom boosters. Get something that is balanced npk that has micros as well. Feed 1/4 strength to start and work up.

3 of these have the seed shell stuck tightly to the sprout. Im hoping they drop but they are on there good and tight.

Give it a couple more days, and if they aren't popping off, try and get in there with a toothpick. Put the point under the seed, and give it a little lift. That's what I do, and they usually just pop right off.
