so your saying I should keep pruning to a minimum.....maybe just a few large fan leaves here and there to let more light to lower budsites once they start flowering good....I have not trimmed much at all as of now, just a few lower branches on my power skunks.

From Guerilla grower to Guerilla grower, a main ingredient in neem oil is called azadiractin and what azamax is, is pure azadiractin it is the best thing on the market by far, works better than neem oil, for sure, because neem oil is not the best thing to use on an infestation , its more of a preventative, azamax is 100% vegetable based, and it is the few inseciticides on the market that is OMRI listed organic, it is from general hydroponics, But is totally safe for outdoor plants, All you have to do is three applications of foliar every thirty days, and your plant is safe from the inside out, I HAD THE EXACT SAME BUGS YOUR TALKING ABOUT, THEY ARE LITTLE WHITE REALLY Small Looking caterpillar type insect with a black head and they can do serious damage, but thanks to azamax my guerilla grow is totally bug free Believe me This stuff works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND i emulsifies in water so you dont have to add any oil based soap, which i think is nice

dude i trim alot of my fan leaves when it starts to flower so all the buds grow and the colas get fat.i hear alot of people say dont trim them but i always have cut my leaves cause it makes em more stealth and it makes the plant able to fully grow.trim that shit

dont trim fan leaves :/
I learned that the fan leaves serve a purpose for sure. I did and experiment with my last indoor grow...(two plants, same strain) and trimmed one plant all nice and pretty and kept it lookin nice throughout flowering and left the other one bushy and the one that i didn't trim yielded more bud....granted it was more work to manicure in the end but it was well worth it.:bigjoint:

yeah man, its a myth to trim fan leaves or leaves even blocking bud sites...all pulling fan leaves does is stress your plants out lol

I have had much success growing indoors, but this is my first grow outdoors, and these girls are getting HUGE! and its still early in the grow season. I am growing three strains; Armageddon, Power Skunk, and White Widow.
I know big plants = big yield and I've seen the wild stuff around here grow to be taller than 8ft, but the wild stuff is only 3-4 ft. tall right now and my power skunk is 6 ft tall and the Armageddon isn't far behind. The white widow im not concerned about as it was planted late and is only about 18 inches tall.
I'll have you know I haven't done anything to these plants yet, other than take a few clones and top a few Armageddons.
I'm sure its the same concept as indoor growing(same common goal) but this is on a much bigger scale than I am use to, so I was wondering if some of you outdoor growers could give me some advice on how to care for these green giants to ensure they stay healthy and bring me good buds.
next time lst when 3 true nodes appear. its the most amazing method ive ever tried

another question I had was how much trimming should I do with these monsters? I trimmed a few bottom branches so far but that's it..
trimming causes much 2much stress. lst gives u more and larger branches. it tells side branches 2 begin growing from nodes and tells them they are all the main cola. makes for very massive yield.

As someone mentioned, neem oil for pests.

Only trim if you need to get more light to interior bud sights (later in life) or if the inner foliage is dying because of poor air circulation, which really shouldn't be a problem until they're hedges.

Looking awesome man, can you elaborate on your location and the wild weed?
tieing down the branches will allow sun 2 get 2 the inner budsights with minimum stress to the plant
