6 euphoria plants, aim 500+ grams

Hi, :weed:

I am growing 6 euphoria plants now, ( 20th days of 12/12 light cycle ). 5 Plants started directly in 12/12 and 1 after 18-20 days vegetation.

Pics in 10th day of 12/12,

(Area : 1m x 0.5m, Light : 400watt hps + 160watt cfl, Medium : soil, No lst, scrog etc used, only defoliation)

I'll post updates soon !

Don't be scared to remove a few leaves. Lower lying leaves that just sit around in the shade or just as they start yellowing can be removed. It's better to remove them and concentrate the energy on flowers.

Why no LST?

Reason for no LST is, I have plenty of vertical space, so no worry of plant's vertical height. and i didn't get as promising result as i am getting with defoliation in my past grow with LST.
The following pic in from my current grow, where i have gotten 17 branches in single plant so far. This plant started from seed directly under 12/12. Pic is of 20th days.

And i do defoliation as routine, as you can see leaves in bottom of plant. Defoliation is quite debated technique though, but i am getting very promising results from it :bigjoint:

@plant
How you getting on brother.
I have 4 Euphoria going at the moment. They are in wk 6 of flowering.

I grew my ladies using LST.
They turned out fine. Two plants have 8 colas.
Ive a bit of nute hassle at the moment that im trying to sort out.

I wish you well with your grow.
Keep us updated.bongsmilie

@Naes
So your plants are almost ready to harvest ? Any pics of ur grow / link of your grow journal etc ??
My plants are in 4th week of flowering now, i'll keep on posting updates. :weed:

LST is your friend... google "inverse square law"

-In physics, an inverse-square law is any physical law stating that a specified physical quantity or intensity is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the source of that physical quantity.

Again, LST is your friend, especially if you want to dream about 500+ grams off of SOIL and a 400 watt hps and a couple cfls that are basically useless...

BTW tossing dead leaves into the planter DOES NOT HELP! Eventually they will start molding and possibly cause problems... A clean grow room is a pest and problem free grow room!

GOOD LUCK!

yeah, i know little about applying inverse square law for efficient light distribution. Currently I am trying to maximize the branch count to achieve the result, I had tried LST in previous grows but with LST it was pretty hard to get 20+ branch in single plant starting directly under 12 / 12.
Yeah, tossing dead leaves seems not good idea to me now, as it is giving growth environment to flies. Thanks for pointing !
Those cfl's are not of great use, but i assume i am providing enough light for my grow space. :confused:
I have about 130 branches in current grow from all 6 plants, still it seems tough to even hit 400 gram. Nutrient issues, pot size and soil mix was not proper this time, i am hoping i can pull around half kg from same setup next time :eyesmoke:

Most of the growers take per gram dry yield per watt of light as achievable target, is it too high expectation ?

Thanks !

some updates :weed:
I harvested first plant and pulled about 55 grams, it was a hasty harvest though as i was out of stock.

Other 5 plants are still growing, almost ready to harvest now. I'll wait 4-5 more days. These were the plants directly in 12 /12 light cycle, currently in 66th day.
