I have recently purchased a 6.5' X 6.5' X 6.5' grow tent

I am going to use this tent of flowering and I am going to use 1 1k watt his bulb, I know that you would usually use a more watts for this amount of sqft. however I don't want to limit my plants grow space.

I was thinking about putting 25 plants in this tent 5 X 5 is this a good number of plants?

depends on veg period I know I could fill a 5x5 with 4 plants no problem. Hell you could fill it with 1 if you veged long enough.

Yeah I would squeeze maybe 10 in that space with 2 week veg... and that would be a tight fit with a big bushy indica, if the strain is mostly stativa you could prolly fit more.

u should have no prob fitting 25 in that area. i had 35 in the same size tent and they ranged from 30 inches to 60 plus inches. it was a bit tight in some spots but worked out pretty good. i vegged for too long tho so now i veg a lot less. ull have lots of room for ur girls to have fun especially if u only veg for two weeks

Old post but i had two of these tents (lighthouse hydro) for a few years. Sold one to my cousin. Kept the other for a veg tent packed with t5's. Anyways....i see this time and time again...hobbyists that wholly underlight thier space. I dont know how you tent guys do it with bigger tents and underlighting. When i ran this size tent for flowering i packed 4 600 watt air cooled hoods (Super Sun 2 's ftw) in each. This amount of light is PERFECT for this square footage. I ran 20 to 25 2 and 3 gallon cloth pots of coco coir on a simple drip system. 5 rows of 5 or 4 rows of 5. Vegged under 6 and 8 bulb t5's in a spare bedroom to a short 20" multi top bush of up to 4 different varieties for each tent. I spaced both tents out 4 to 5 weeks apart...cranking veg plants and clones and harvest in that rotation. 3.5 pounds minimum every 5 weeks. Once i got in a consistent groove with everything dialed...no less than 4 pounds minimum. Often times when i got off my lazy ass and did serious canopy management i hit 4.5 and 5 pound harvests. You guys need to brush up on lighting math. Dont sell yourself short with low lighting with too many plants. Its a common mistake for newish growers i see and hear all too often.
