5x5 tents

Hey guys,

So I have a 5x5 tent and I ordered 19 seeds and 19 pots 3 gallon. i'm trying to get my maximum amount of yield out of this tent; how many pots can I grow?

This will be my first grow and I didn't want to use SOG method since the strains are different.

I will be using HLG 550 v2 led lights.

1 550 will be cutting it very close in that area its better for a 4x4

3 gallon pots are small. I'd do 5 gallon and do 9 plants per grow in a 5 x 5 tent. I did 5 plants in 3 gallon pots and had some room left but trained the plants poorly and ended up with shrub style plants. Plants were also stressed and some turned hermie on me because of it I believe. Good luck!

I'd like to add that if you did a little training I bet you could fill the tent out pretty easily with as few as 4 plants in 5 gallon pots. Below is a picture of my 5 plants in 3 gallon pots. I vegged for about 60 days.

I’m actually growing autos so my veg time is limited. I bought the pots already and air pots are pretty expensive. All i have currently 6 air pots and may consider adding 4 pots 5 gallon.
