5g Bucket - Cloudy Water

I've had cloudy white water with a ring of froth around the surface twice during my latest grow. Running eight 5g buckets for veg. The first time I filled up the buckets with 130ppm tap water and left them bubbling for about 48 hours. I mixed in Pro-Tekt, DG Grow, and some nameless benes, then GH ph down. The water became cloudy white after 12-24 hours, and cleared up on its own after about 48 hours.

The next time just happened. I filled a bucket with tap water, used API tap water conditioner, then Pro-Tekt, Grow, Pond-Zyme, and ph down.

I know the cloudiness isn't coming from Dyna-Gro Grow. It happened with tap water that was conditioned, and water that has bubbled for 2 days... so I don't think it is anything in my tap water or conditioner. It has happened while using Pond-Zyme and some no-name benes. The only thing left is Pro-Tekt. I have no light leaks, water stays around 65-72 but it has gone higher when I missed a round of ice bottles.

So, either Pro-Tekt is turning my water cloudy white, or the benes are killing stuff in my res?

I use protekt and dynagro nutes and my water is pretty clear. I use pondzyme too, still pretty clear water. Don't know what to tell you.

are u adding protekt first and letting it mix for a little while? if you add nutes and then the protekt it turns to plastic because of chemical reaction, read the directions. Even rinse out what you use to measure in between mixing in the protekt and your nutes. so protekt then nutes then ph it. it looks like you are doing it in the right order just try and leave the protekt longer before adding anything else

I add the protekt first but I don't wait before adding nutes. I'll try waiting a few min from now on, thanks.
