To be totally honest, Im a little disappointed with how they are right now. I expected them to be much bigger but what can you do. Some days I walk out there n feel great about it, while the next day I can walk out and be disappointed. Few things I'll do differently next year that should really help get the 10 footers I expected. Im also doubling my number of plants next year so things should be way better

So I have the pleasure of experiencing russet mites this year. Hadn't known of them by name, and had only seen the signs in years past thinking it was over fert cuz it never spread. But it's spread across the plants. Bought some sulfur powder and started spraying. This is one of the very few options to kill russet mites, or at least make them leave plants alone. Unfortunately, budding just started so I only have about a week before the buds are too developed for sprays.

Well yesterday went down pretty foul. My landlord suddenly called saying he wanted me to cut down or move out. His grandson, who managed the house, was fine with it and even the actual landlord had seen my plants indoor. Spouted off a few bs claims about having too many and my script not being ok outside. Then said a neighbor called and complained to the realty company bc the owner is selling the house. Told me I had ten days, hopefully a deal can be made to let me make it to October, when everything would be close enough to pull early and be usable.

Shitty man. I would squat until harvest, but still have rent and house in good order.

I don't want to get too volatile with them bc the grandson has been good to me. Iv been here 11 months and been late just these last two months but they were paid. Prior to July, I was paid 3-5 months in advance since last October. I just don't get where the old mans hostility came from. Iv done a lot of cleaning around the property and repairs on the roof out often pocket. It's really a shame there is little legal protection from this type of shit

That sucks, I just saw the thread again and got dejavu about you chopping them down.

Do you have a lease by any chance? Something can always be done.

Im contemplating where to move them to. I think I can make them reason, this was the first interaction iv.had with the owner the entire year iv been here. His grandson was managing the house n knew about the plants and allowed them so I think I have some ground to stand on. Technically, if the prop manager allowed something and the owner has a problem after the fact, I don't believe they can just uproot me (no pun intended). Just very frustrating cuz iv been the only long term tenant for like 4 years... Maybe there was a reason.

Go take a look at MooFoo's thread to see what the Sherriff's answer to a 'citizen complaint' is. They would love a good excuse to chop them down and be rid of it....they're looking for a reason....don't give it to them. With pot you have no legal ground to stand on.

Ya I know, that's what I was thinking about when the landlord first called. The only difference being that our county doesn't have size guidelines, it's just technically 12 plants per property. But I do have a 99 script. The guidelines also say the sheriffs can only serve a 10 day notice to fix or quit before they chop down. Of course, wev all seen how cops follow the law when it's relevant to our rights.

Buds are getting pretty fat for this time of year. Ill put a couple more up soon. My snowcap looks like it could have one ounce nugs with how many bud sites are developing in such close space

Couple shots of some of yhr plants from this evening. Doing good with the exception of a few plants attacked by russet mites. Sprayed Forbid on some of the girls and killed most of the mites, but they have started to move to other plants. Learned my lesson about reacting instead of preventing. Seems things have cooled on the landlord front, no word from him yet
