5200 watt medical sealed w\co2

i have not personally used h&g in my garden besides roots and the shooting powder. something about a 2 part being for veg and bloom that rubs me the wrong way. my budddy has a fat shop and he broke his arm and was worthless for a few weeks so i went down the hill and helped him out. this was about 6 months back but i was stuck using H&g in his garden and i was not impressed. his buds look dark, and everything looks similar in my opinion. not to mention the yield was nothing to jump for joy over. i got my maui from him.. he told me how it was an OK yielder but a stretcher and he didnt like to grow it. my nugs came out phenomenal, honestly one of my favorite smokes ive ever had. and at that i grew 4 of them and got 24 ounces. needless to say he shut up about conni after that. him and his dad work together on the shop but ultimately he is his dads bitch and what his dad says goes. his dad is a tightwad and only cares about money. he skimps in areas that im my opinion shouldnt be skimped on. he told me that he pays 200 bucks for the 5 gallons of A&b house and garden and until he can get conni for that price he wont be making any nutrient changes. i tried to explain that i dont have to feed over 1000ppms hardly ever, he runs 1600ppms max and hes running touchy OGs. makes me think that that house and garden is weak sauce. to each there own i guess.

i have no idea what i am doing when it comes to growing.. i just run what works for me.

hey patrick, we spoke on another thread and decided to come check your grow it, it looks very awesome to say the least and im sorry again if we started out on the wrong foot. It looks really nice in there, so your basically on a 10 by 10 setup?...man im jealous i would LOVE that kind of room to work with, the most ive ever had was 5 by 5..lucky bastard anyways im def interested in talking with you more about yield, and everything looks great here, ill keep my eye on it for sure.

this one the yielders are bubblegum, northern lights big bud, and green crack.
you said that advanced didnt get any better yields for you, what were the other nutes that worked well for you?

well i dont think any nutes necessarily worked better for me, but i dont really feel like AN put me over the top to spend all the money i did on it ya know what i mean? in all honesty i still feel i have to take a 2nd look at AN when i have more time and cash, i dont like or dislike them, but i have gotten the same results with lesser priced additives thats all, as far as strains go, i have a nice sativa strain that can get 2 plus 1k, that and skunk 1 from sensi are prob my best yielders, but no matter what i do i can never really crack 2 and a half or more



ps i also want to mention that this was in a 5 by 5 space, right now im in the middle of moving so i dont have anything like that goign on until i get into my new home, maybe the extra space is really what makes the difference for you, either way i would love to trade ideas and learn more

my 2.9 average was in a 5x5foot8inches canopy per light. i only had the 4k watts in the whole room and pulled 11.5ps. what ppms of co2, what medium were you running and how many girls in that 5x5 area?

i would love to try a different line of nutes and see if i could pull the same yield. unfortunately thats way to risky and will never happen haha. i really couldnt see purchasing the whole advanced line with 1 light. only because you have to buy the liters and they fuck you on the liter prices vs the discount you get for buying gallons. but if you dialed advanced in and got an ounce more per light, and you had 4-6 lights, that extra 6 ounces is worth more than the entire line of nutes you had to get.

my buddy got liters of connoisseur today and paid 68 bucks. i get 6 gallons for 550. less than 25 bucks a liter. they definitely make there money

i was in hydro, aeroponic setup, im not sure of my co2 ppm honestly because at the time i was having problem with my regulator and i think it wasnt pumping the right amount out, and i def see where your coming from with buying it in bulk, when i did buy them i bought 1 ltr bottles and boy was it expensive, i want to say over 300 and im not a commercial grower or making tons of money doing this i only have 2 thousand watters ya know, but for 6 extra ozs, i agree with you completley, like i said i think i need to take a 2nd look at AN because i feel i wasnt dialed when i tried it. and that means alot i feel, also ive tried all types of numbers of plants, ive had 50 girls and 6 or 7 girls it seems to all be the same ya know.

for sure in a 5x5 area i would just shove as many in there as you possibly could. i would try to find a high yielder that grows well from clone. veg out 5 days and flip those puppies. i bet if you get your co2 dialed you could pull 3ps. do you use finishers? h&g shooting powders?

i did use final phase when i was in the 5 by 5, and yes i do need more strains and i have a new co2 reg. so all is good there, just dont have the space in the apartment im in now. i dont really use any shooting powders, im not to sure what they are? i do recommend getting h2 and f2 from AN....its fulvic acid and humic acid, they are seriously awesome additives.

shooting powder is a booster your supposed to towards the end of your harvest, i use it the last couple days of week 6 and all of week 7. i also use yellow bottle final which is cheaper, im not sure what they are besides heavy pk boosters, but whatevers in that shit, its magic. id say i get about 15% more bud because of it.

Is tht Nl x Bigbud or each strain? Ive got the NL but have not grew it yet, But the BB is a very large yielder and has a great taste.You have some awesome grows GL.

I'm running h and g, right now on my blue dream it's kinda scaring me cause right now it's super bulking right now, with the h and g seems almost like its on slow motion. The mk is doing fantastic though looks like I'll get a heavier yield with the h&g on mk, idk about the bd though.
I don't know if I would run it for every strain thou, where advanced seems pretty universal in my garden.

its an nlXbb. i got a really nice pheno that comes out quality, gets a good purple to it even. i just tell my guys its NL and no one says shit

i was thinking about this last night. my buddy with the warehouse was having issues with his h&g in coco. i remember this cause his nugs turned out real bad for 2 runs in a row . i was thinking that maybe the MK didnt do as well with the advanced because of salt build up? did you test it with small girls like your doing now? i have problems with advanced on my small girls like they cant handle the juice.

I just switched out their booster and switched in my original booster. Ima run that for 2 weeks then finish with the shooting powder. The mk will stay on schedule cause their taking it just fine. You might be right about the bd not beig able to handle it, but then again I've put her through a lot before.

I was curious about shooting powder.. I have a pouch of it, and a bottle of bud XL. I kinda figured it was the same thing as Overdrive. I have used overdrive a few times, and am not sure if I am a fan or not. The extra growth is definitely visible.. But come harvest, its all still new bud. New hairs still white, and trichs not even close to done. I agree any added weight is great, but im just not sold on the pros' vs cons yet. :S

pat - interesting that you dont like hoods and prefer wings.. i heard from an experienced guy that there was noticable difference in size of buds with out glass and you get better spread with too but idk i do good with my raptors and yeild 1.5 - 2 per 1k so our numbers are about the same the heat kills me where i am at.. i always use glass with pl hoods. everyone make it work either way but good to see ya still goin

i use a couple finishers so i havent been able to completely blame the extra shooting of white hairs on overdrive but i thought that was what was causing it. i notice way more of a difference with yellow bottle final and the shooting powders than just the overdrive.
i grow mainly for yield so i gota let them do what they do.. but i definitely see what your saying, it messes with bag appeal and the trichs are less finished. i wonder if it has something to do with strain cause it only happens with some strains for me.
with the shooting powder i just tell my buddys to be careful when trying it first time. once you feed it you cant take it back so make sure you dont do it too early in bloom. and definitely dont give the whole packet first feeding. i usually do half packets a couple times and maybe 1 or two full packet feeds. i use it once or twice week 6 and all of week 7 and notice quite a bit of added weight.

hey man. hope all is good.
i am definitely digging the wings more than the raptors. i cant really compare with yield cause my veg is always wishy washy and off schedule. hopefully i can solve this soon. i am in the process of chopping down right now so stick around to see how the yield turns out. IMO, if you can cool them.. wings are definitely the way to go. the light seems to be spread further and you can adjust for a closer or wider canopy. plus no ducting, no cleaning glass and worrying about dirt cockblocking light.
