haha is that tent where youre living?
Yep me and 4 dogs sleeped in that tent for 2 months. It was fun.... Not

This year I have a huge 80's camper van that I will park in the backyard. I will have power heat tv fridge and cable. Oh the high life.

I take no chances and sleep with my plants. My dogs are great but I am scared of a ripper poisening them. That would break my heart and my wife would kill me.

LOL This is my backyard in my house. I just pitch a tent and toss in a mattress and sleep. I tried sleeping in the house but I could not sleep.

Mygirls this is the same reason why I sleep with my plants. I also want to know whats going on. If there is an ripper try to rip my plants I want to know. If my dogs see a ripper look over the fence I want to know. If I was sleeping in the house i would just know the dogs barked and be wondering why. Also you can't catch the fuckers red handed sleeping in the house.

Cameras are nice and think they have a use. But a camera and motion lights are useless unless you are home. Many of rippers do not care. It just makes it a run and dash thing.

Plus i love sleeping out in the tent. The only shitty part is keeping your shoes on until the light comes out. Always be ready to respond to your dogs. My Jack Russell is 100% person/ripper alert dog. All my dogs and I key on the Jack. This is my first JRT and there are amazing dogs.

Also I got to play like everyone and there brother knows about my grow. it sucks but that just how it is. A ripper will return everytime if he is scared away by dogs only. He will get braver and smarter each return. When dogs and the grower see/yell/ chase them. They think twice before coming back.

wanted to talk about how I trained my dog this winter. As the above post I have a Jack Russell. MY JRT freaks when the door bell is rung.

I took my motion sensors and set them by the door outside. I set the chime part of the sensor inside the house.

Now when anyone comes to the front door the chime goes off then they ring the bell. Well my JRT freaks to the chime now also.

Why did I do this? when sleeping in the van this fall and a ripper sets off the chime inside my van the jack will freak and be on the run before you even know whats going on. she is crazy fast and small enough to just blast the fence line under the arborvidas. All the other dogs will follow the Jack. I tested it out in the backyard with her at it works perfect. She hears the chime and runs to the side of the house trying to see who is out there.

With this new high tech weapon I will put sensors outside my yard this year. They will be in the arborvidas or fence looking down. So I will know that anyone is outside my fence before they get inside. Last year I just had the backyard only alarmed.

The plan is to catch the fuckers and make them do all the trimming. LOL

Just kidding but they will be limping away with a very bad limp and some busted fingers. Rippers deserve to die. But I do not want to kill anyone over MJ plants.

"high tech weapon" after reading this, I couldn't stop laughing.. My stomach hurts so much. And I spilled some sprite onto my keyboard. Now my arrows are not working.

Dude sounds like you got a pretty legit security setup there that motion alarm sounds like a good idea. A yappy ass dog and motion lights are a necessity. I keep my paintball gun and my pellet guns (the break action rifle, the pump rifle, and the co2 pistol) all loaded and ready to rock. I wouldn't kill anyone over weed either but 15 or 20 bb's in somones hide will sure as fuck warrant a trip to the hospital. If I can drill a quail from 100 yards, im sure I could throw some pellets into a ripper from my bedroom window before he knew what was going on :) You can't be too safe when it comes to your crop!
