........ .........
bravo

6500k is ideal for veg (blue)
2700k is ideal for flowering (red)

there are a bunch in between that also have an effect like 5000k for all stages of growth, you can find good information on it in the grow bible, or KP college link. peace

nice plants. been researching a hell of a lot about led's lately, and your grow is proof (among two or three other documented grows i've seen) that they work! Do you know the exact wavelengths that those lights are putting out? I had thought that 660nm peak in red and 430-450nm in blue should work real well together, but recently read that 640nm is also important. As soon as luxeon starts making wavelengths designed for plants, we will all be using them...

What would it take for you to admit that his led's have grown a real healthy plant for 26 days (?) ? You're not convinced of what, that they appear to be working, that others have budded with them? Or simply that in their infantile experimental stage they don't probably stack up in yield to 1000W HPS? What exactly is your beef?

Somebody said in the first page they will falling off, streching, etc! If this shit is works lot of people can avoid jail because of the high electric bill!!! Think about that 30red light and 20blue is only 400W!!!!! Commercial growers should start prey now!!!!:peace::peace::peace::peace::mrgreen::joint:

Im joining in the mix and will start my grow journal. I think you have done a great job and I have been paying attention. I had one small grow with 6 plants and 12 led bulbs red and blue. Im setting up my first grow room with 80 LEDS from mutilpe suppliers, and I am adding t5s for support. I will be following up with some pics of my lighting layout and my setup.

I will add the link later, by the way congrats, I think you have done a great job so far.

THX LEDGrower1! If the bigger plant will be boy I cannot proof that this light will be enough for flowering! And start the job from scratch! Keep fingers crossed!

The general opinion is that plants don't flower well under them. Does anyone have any information?
By the looks of how they are growing. they seem like they'd do fine in flower. So far this thread has kinda blown alot of people's expectations out of the water, and will probably continue to do so.

they look like they're doing fine. I'm also doing a LED grow, but with 4 CFLs and 600+ LEDs. I'm gonna create an active journal now that my girls are really starting to get some nice buds. :)
