They seem a little too smashed. Seems the forwarder has gotten sticky fingers... then formulated a plan of deception.

Yeah man those seeds aren't even properly finished or they look like hemp seeds that are used for making fiber and feeding fish

Damn... I just read that those things cost $360! Aside from the lack of heat I don't see how those work and/or would be used? LED just means light emitting diode... Most bulbs used in agriculture utilize certain elements that when excited with electrons emit a certain spectrum of light. Do diodes work similar to this? It seems like they're just taking regular LED's and putting them in red or blue plastic casing. =/ Do they tell you what spectrum and wavelength is being emitted?

I am interested in LED's but they are clearly not ready for prime time.

I can't believe you took all that time to grow that bud and flash dried it in the oven. Man... I know desperate times but damn.

You need sufficient intensity (which is part of the debate) and correct spectrum to grow great plants.

I found this link on another site. They claim they are more efficient not just for it's low energy consumption but that it is more effective than a 400 watt hps... it's a bit pricey, but If i had the money i'd buy one.

So if i read your implication correctly you were the test subject and this was more of a promotional thing for them and an experiment for you... Just saying i will not be shelling out 300 ducks for a 25w led setup just yet...

Nor would i pay 600 for that 80w ufo... Led looks too expensive at the moment...

Although i am tempted to get my hands on a few of these and line a grow box with them for supplementing cfl lighting...

if he was trying to sell the lights for them he wouldve shown some nicer looking finished plants. what he showed was the real live results of the leds without trying to make it look better.

Im not saying it was HIS intention to sell the lights...

Just pointing out while i am impressed with how well the LIGHTS did, i would not fork over the mula involved for this type of setup... Even if the end result was spectacular... LED needs to come down in price considerably before it is a viable solution...

I also think that this setup could have done better with a more experienced grower... Not that i have anything to say about that other then he did very well for his 1st grow...

Look closer at the pics. Check the date stamp, one has been edited. Both pics are the same quality(from a professional company with a product to sell), But regardless, have you ever seen a distorted date stamp on a digital photo? I haven't.
