500w CFL over super silver haze; progress? PICS

Hey everyone this is my first grow and I am using CFL lights equating to about 500w total. The clones are super silver haze planted in fox farm ocean forest soil mixed with perlite and I am using the entire fox farm nutrient system according to their provided feeding schedule (Big Bloom®, Grow Big®, Tiger Bloom®, Open Sesame®, Beastie Bloomz®, Cha Ching®). I am on day 18 of flowering and was wondering if they're on the right path. Although I think they are looking decent I really have no basis to judge from so any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Any information about maximizing bud density and resin formation would also be great. Below are some pics taken today.

Thanks! Always great to hear its going well from an outside source. I believe its equivalent but im not sure how thats judged. According to their boxes I have six 64w and six 42w CFLs and I tied down parts of the plant during veg (on the advice of a friend) to max the light usage. So when can I expect resin development to start? Is there any way to guess the yeild this early?

damn so your runnin 500 actual watts. pretty sick, ive had one of those 65w cfls and there pretty damn big.

a little tip, down the road put a couple cfls on reg lamps and have them on the sides, you know just to get some lighting near the bottom buds and in the middle,

Each set of lights is on a different strip with a nice surge protector so fingers crossed theres no problems with fire! I actually tried to get some CFLs on the lower limbs but with the limited space I have the leaves were growing through the lights and burining so I had to pull them. I heard that trimming the bottom 25% of the plant helps the main buds development if light doesnt penetrate through the bush, is that a good/valid idea?

Thats great man I see so many people on other forums trash talking CFL's but the more and more CFL plants I see the happier I get about my own first grow (4 weeks in). And if they get anything as big as yours I'll be a happy man. Def gonna add like 4 more lights down the road I have 6 now on 3 - 10" plants.

Does anybody know about trimming the bottom of the plant? I cant fit any CFLs into the lower limbs so no light is making it through to the bottom buds, would it be smart to trim away some of the lesser bud sites to push nutrients to the upper levels? Ill have more pics posted in a few days when I get my real camera back.

yea that is pretty much true, when you cut off lower level branches it sends the grow hormones/nutrients that where heading to those branches up the plant and gives a boost to the tops.

but what i can see from your pictures your bottom branches are growing alright, if you have any that arnt getting any light its a good idea to do that. i like to do it so i can see whats going on at the base of the plant without having to comb through all of the skinny branches.
