So was approached yesterday and I was offered a deal of me setting up my friends grow room and help him with the grow and i'd receive a % of the profit made. So 5,000$ guys, a very large grow room...he said he wants top of the line everything. I am Thinking 2 different Ebb and Grow systems so I can have two straings ending at different times. He said he wants the best so im thinking http://www.lifelighttec.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=19&category_id=6&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26 with about 2-3 weeks of veg time. for c02 i would like to get the system from this thread https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/98900-water-cooled-co2-generator.html.

hit me with any other suggestiongs and ideas.

just a personal suggestion, but i think aero-shuttles works great, or any kind of good aeroponic system. I personally dont like ebb and flow but whatever suits your friend i suppose.

5 grand is a lot too. be carefull not to attract attention form all the supplies being brought into the house.

here's my suggestion... don't waste ur money. and save some of it for the electric bills that will roll in. stay away from LED's. Stay away from buying hydroponic setup 'pre-fab'. i've seen ebb and flow systems with like 12 buckets, a rez bucket, and pump and a timer sell for like 400-600 dollars - which is completely retarded when you could DIY the same setup for less than 100 dollars EASILY. I've seen aerocloner systems for 400-600 dollars when you could DIY one for about 50 dollars. Shop at HTG.com and you'll get a decent price for lights. For anything else, find a reputable dealer with good feedback and at least a 30 day return warranty on EBay. (Though i also like their GrowBright vortex-like inline fans... they are only 3 dB higher than the Vortex... and i use insulated ducting so i can hardly hear them at all.) I also picked up a ozone generator from them, just for convenience, though you can find one for 20 bucks less and with free shipping on EBay.

Buy things (large purchases) online. Locally (home depot or lowe's) you will pay a premium... and then pay tax on top of it. IE; a 70 qt de-humidifier at H.D. will run about $239+tax for about 260 bucks. I can get a different brand name that does the same thing on ebay for 160 dollars plus free shipping.

It sounds like you want to start a business. Your first responsibility as a business owner is justifying cost. IMO, some person are too eager to pay a premium for a brand name when the less expensive gear will do just as well. Also, you could have a much larger system if you keep price in mind while doing your shopping.

And stay away from tents. And stay away from 'roto-gardens'.

As of right now I am thinking about getting two ebb an gro systems so I can have them running different strains with different flush times. As for the lights that What I'm still not to sure about because we are currently looking for a new grow house to get underway and am unsure about the size of it. As far as worrying about spending top notch on the gear....the person who is funding it has LARGE sums of cash so im not afraid to buy the most badass expensive equipment. NO CHEAP STUFF! haha :weed:

You can get cheap ballast hoods and bulb from www.stealitback.com under commercial nursery supplies.. I got my last 1000watt setup for 90.00 dollars.. Hortilux bulb aircooled hood hydrofarm ballast.. Check it out..
3 gallon buckets of hydroton in a 4x8 flood table with top feed drip systems are great if you do it right

Hempy bucket, simple effective, cheap cheap cheap... It can be set up for auto watering and feeding too... if you are willing to do the work.

Was that comment really necessary? Do you really want us (and them) to know you're setting up a grow op for a big dealer?

Sorry for cursing.. I do apologize... But people like the OP are the reason there are such strict marijuana laws.. ANd the reason we have to be slaves to drug dealers to obtain marijuana for medicinal use..Its not right and you know it..

Time for me to unplug for a while before I say something and end up getting banned .

4 x 3x3= 400.00 dolla.. 6 foot light tracks?? Light tracks are a pain in the ass and dont really work that well.. I like your design but i would get 4 600's or 4 1000.. But with 5 g's you could double this and still be okay.

try not to run that much electricity if possible you can always scatter like 400s here and there to compensate the two that are on tracks

Simplicity + small footprint = a cylander full of dope.
the Volks garden (the peoples garden)
80 plants in 4x3x6
and they SAY you use up to a 1000w
could probly make it shorter if you relocated the res and lowered the wheel to maybe around 5' tall i wouldnt buy this unless you have had a successful grow before and at least played with hydro.

https://www.omegagarden.com/index.php?content_id=175&product_id=1

actually trying to buy the larger model this year for actual food....probly soybeans

if this is your first grow...do not take anyones money and promise them a marketable product... shit happens, there is a learning curve, and "big time drug dealers" who shell out 5k for a grow... expect results.. make sure you can supply the results hes looking for...

as people said on here before, just build your own hydro system. at least that way when it breaks (and it will) you can fix it a lot faster. and will give you some good hands on.

step 2
make a new RIU name when you get the equipment and dont talk so much
