5 weeks into flower.. damn

My white widow had some heat stress yesterday. Temps hit 90(that was the highest). Anyways two days before yesterday it looked like I had a cal/mag issue and/or n lockout. Lower leaves were yellowing. I flushed it out three days ago and fed about 1/3 gallon yesterday.

Yesterday I fed the normal routine but added some veg nutes for n. I let the tap water sit 30+ hours with an air stone in it. (I normally feed distilled but sometimes substitute tap when I'm in a bind.*always dechlorinated.

After it sat for 30 hours I checked the pH at 5.9. I added a small amount of ph up and brought it to 6.5.

Soil - black n gold .05-0-0
Lights - 2 area 51 190
Humidity - 40/60%
Temp - 75-85 normally

Damn I think some of the "White" strains are really a bitch when it comes to Ca/Mg and there ph being slightly off.

I have a white russian pheno that has been showing signs of Ca/Mg deficiency, I checked ph of all my plants and it was about 5.5

My other plants are fine but the white russian pheno is still being a little whore.

So maybe it's any strains from the "white" geneus

Well, it sure looks like a cal/mag shortage but given your feeding schedule of it, I really don't know. I've only grown one white and don't remember it being a cal/mag whore, but maybe that is the case as Milk suggests. I'd try and get some more strain specific beta if you can.

Looks like you'll have some nice buds! I wouldn't worry too much about your fan leaves at this point.

I hope so.. it was overnight.. like I said they had been yellowing on the lower canopy but not a severe sign of calmag.. anyways woke up and checked on em, almost the whole canopy now looks like that! :*(

You sure though? As I believe I probably have 3-4 more weeks.. don't know what will be left by then if the fan leaves all look like this.

Can't ever be sure, but I've had many plants that looked like absolute shit at harvest and smoked great. Did they reach their full potential? Probably not, but close enough.

Addition: When cal/mag is not available Epson salt and eggshells can be used. The eggshells are very slow release so wont really "cure" a problem but make an excellent soil amendment. Of course this is my opinion based on past growing. My blackberry is doing the same on its top cola. As bugs said you will still have some dank buds!

Boy your not kidding! I recently have been working with a new addition to our crosses. Bubble Widow. This is one that loves the food. & you have to add more then norm amounts of cal-mag or she will act silly. haha :)

:) really good 2 see others passing on great information :) I have had to use household items when I ran out of my other nutrients, and also used lemon juice for my PH.

Coffee grounds are a good source of acid too, milks a good base. Yea I like to keep it simple. I use promix with no nutes and barley consume purchased items. Dollar store ftw!

If you think you are suffering a deficiency of Calmag use the recommended mixture ratio on your bottle to fight a deficiency.

I use mono Ca and mono Mg as I very rarely see both together and an over abundance of one can give the deficiency symptoms of the other.

But when I notice yellow spots I add 2ml per litre of mono Ca which is my recommended level on the bottle to treat a deficiency.

I feed my coco mix with my normal feed and then each plant showing the symptoms gets an extra litre of the Ca mix.

I do this each feed until I see the spots stop.

And... If caught early enough the spots will begin to disappear.
