5 weeks into flower and not much budding. . .

So am in the middle of my first grow which was of ice and afghan. I'm kicking myself now for not getting feminized seeds as I lost over half the crop to males and was using LED and CFL until about the 4th week at which point I replaced it with a newly ordered 1000w HPS. I know the 1000w is more than enough for the few plants that have made it this far; however, what I was wondering is whether or not the relatively insufficient lighting for the 4 weeks of flower (the LEDs and CFLS) are going to set me back in time-aka require more time to finish flowering.

Thanks in advance and +rep for info of course. . .

That was a portion of the problem.
I went over everything and sealed and re-sealed and have seen some pretty nice development over the last week my concern would be that it would finish flowering with tiny buds but be more or less on time if it were to delay it that wouldn't be an issue rather I am somewhat afraid that it will negatively affect the yield.

not really on the yield. i had a grow where everytime i needed to check them after adjustment, the lights were off. it took longer to finish, but yielded the same

thanks a lot for the quick responses guys + rep for both of you and thanks for the info. It relieves me somewhat to know that especially with all the care, concern, and love ya have to pour into the things.

Also you did the right thing by not wasting your time with feminized seeds. Most of the time they hermie up on you with littlest of stress. Next time clone your best female plant and grow off those clones. Thats a way better solution then buying shitty ass feminized seeds. You at least get the benefit of knowing you have females and knowing that each one will grow the same, produce the same quality of bud, and have the same tolerances to stress.

P.S. If your growing sativas it can take a bit of time for them to switch over to fruiting. Most people don't count fruiting till 1-3 weeks after the lights have switched to 12/12. Once you see signs of flowers then you start counting.
