5 Seeds 5 Females??? Impossible right? No

So as the title says... we have 5 females!!! Ill get you all up to speed

Originally 23 seeds were germinated and planted in solo cups... no pics from that stage but as first timers lets just say it didnt look like anything special... Those plants dwindled in number as we kicked out the weak plants in favor of the healthier plants. Overall health/size was our only method for selecting the best plants.

We then had this...

Well those 9 plants grew nice and healthy but we had to cut down to the four best for our rubbermaid 18 gal bin, and we only had two 8" pots so we kept the next best 2 as well, for 6 total.

After some quick transplant work here's what we had

That picture was a few days after transplanting, so they werent in shock at all, and 5 days later they more than doubled in size! I love transplants!

So yeah 5 days later...

Ok now it gets fun... Maturity! Alternating nodes kicked in so we diligently hunted preflowers every day until we saw one on one plant. Luckily... A Female!!!
Mmmm so sexy :eyesmoke:

That was the first visible hair anywhere on anything, but we kept looking... Over the
next 10 days we kept looking and almost exactly every 2 days we kept getting happier. Our best plant at the time, frank, showed her signs next and I think i got hard a little... (jk but not really). So thats 2/5 females and one of them was our best plant, we were happy enough at that point. Well two days later 3/5 fems, then 4/5 then after about 10 days... ALL FEMAAALLLLEEEESSSS WWHHHAAATTTT!!?!?!?!? I dont think we could have been any luckier in this grow, especially considering they changed homes three times before they got in the rubbermaid bin, and almost died in one of those three homes(cat layed down on half of them and for a week they were in a 60 degree basement with inadequate light and bugs).

Anywayyyy.... it was 12/12 time for the incredibly beautiful girls. We switched the lighting to more yellow and set the timer up for 12/12 and waited...

WHOAAA!!!

Well it's probably likely that the seeds were from a hermie flower and that would help explain all the females. They might be prone to hermies withstress though. You would expect some males especially if your thinning out the weaker ones cuz males tend to be more robust. I got 5 females out of 6 seeds this round it was pretty sweet and unexpected, good luck with your girls:D

Heres some shot of what they look like now! Some are a few days older than some.
Planning on harvesting next friday and have started flushing them since last watering.

Any idea on what the no hair plant is? Maybe Hermi?
