ive been growing weed for nearly 80 years now and you kids dont know what youre talking about. you can tell by the strong stem that those are great strains going to produce a weak harvest. i suggest you donate your supplies to someone who will care for their grow.

Wait, I'm confused. Am I doing something wrong?

ya enjo, but don't worry. most people on this site only know the basics of growing. its obvious that you've been growing using all the typical techniques but you haven't treated the special needs of your strain. that results in two things: 1) harvest below potential 2) bland tasting dope

This is the second time I've tried to grow so I do not really have much experience. All these are from bagseed so I don't know what strains they are. What changes in growing technique are you recommending?

well its too late to fix the first problem. most of that care needs to happen very early on in the growing process. as for the taste, usually i just fill the pots with a thin layer of honeydew melons. its simple, cheap, and safe. believe it or not it, it always made a significant impact on my grows.

leroy, each strain requires a different ph level along with a different ratio of nutrients, light levels, and feeding frequencies. just because its all weed doesn't mean you treat it all the same.

Whats the 2 things so i make sure i get the best from my grows in the future man :hump:

I was reading this post and had to say something. Plants are looking good. Not sure what strain but they look pretty fricken good to me. My last harvest of big bud with a 400 w hps, my plants were a little fuller (strain?) but your look good to. Some people are so into growing and can afford to pay so much attention (and $) that after doing so much research, they can experiment and apply so much of the knowledge they learned. For many of us relatively new growers we are content with getting a decent amount and a decent quality of pot. And some people who lets have been growing for 80 years or so put us down. But the fact is some people and content with mediocrity when it comes to growing the best weed/most weed possible. We ARE pot heads after all.

So basically, as with anything in life (pardon me getting philisophical), you get what you put in. And if you're cool with putting a relative small amount of time and money into your plants and getting decent results.....there is nothing wrong with that. Me, I'm happy just getting some good pot to smoke and it's fun to do.

i agree with you smokey but there are some small, significant adjusts everyone can make that ive learned throughout the years. honeydew melons for taste, music and white sheets/shirts to increase amount.

Music? I'm very doubtful of this. Wasnt this on mythbusters? How do you use white sheets to increase yield? Do you have any pictures of what your plants look like? Not that I'm doubting you, just want to see what the extra work would look like.

music is why my leaves are so green and perky. as for the white shirts and sheets, they help with spreading light to the lower stem...stops the light from escaping better than mylar.
