Hi all,

1st timer here!

Can you tell by my pics how long I have left to go in flowering and when I should start to flush?

I am about 5 coming up for 6 weeks in to flowering, this is counting from when I started to see hairs and formation of bud. I am using 12/12 cycle for lights. My top buds are about 2 inches tall, see pics. They have started to bulk up this past week.

Is it true they will explode with size during last 2 weeks,? do they get bigger through flush?
How would you flush, ph water or quarter nutrients then to ph water.

I don't have many orange hairs, some but mostly white,.if say 3/4 at least still white

Any thoughts please

you've got a good 3-4 weeks left...I wouldn't flush...if you want to stop feeding them towards the end then just give them straight water, but there really isn't a need to strip the medium of nutrients in a soil system(unless you are really hell bent on starving it) ;)

What do you think about Fox Farms feeding schedule where they say to flush with sledge hammer every so often?

Thanks, that's what I thought. It's been working alright so far but when I transplant I'm already planning on cutting it with perlite and adding dolomite.
Sorry to thread jack.

I used few drops of Sledgehammer in my StinkBud res.. it works very well in reducing salt buildup.

Sorry but this product does work.

It works good for that. We are referring to the Fox Farms feeding schedule that says to flush your soil with it like once a month.

thats cool dude, i am always interested in reading and learning as much as i can so the more convo the best for me... could you maybe help though, if i am using bubbleponics set up, how and when would i flush? i clean our the reserviour at least 1x a week so no build up as such and always clean and fresh. but for the flush i have read to do it with just ph'd water or doing a low nutrients like 1/4 the ammount for most of it then dropping to just ph'd water... also i read that i pour the ph'd water straight over my hanging pots to wash them out so to speak?!?!

any help on when to start doing this too would be good, like do i wait till buds are ripe and ready to pick or do i anticipate it a week or 2 before hand and do it then?
