5 days darkness to wrap up flowering?

What is the maximum amount of time I should leave my plant in the darkness before harvesting? I see 2 days all the time as optimal but would leaving it in darkness for up to 5 days be horrible?

This is what I'm working with.

dont think these are ready yet, pistils are still white. Ive read 72 hours before hours is best.

yes you have some time left. 3 to 4 weeks. and theres no proof that leaving your plants in 2 days complete darkness actually does anything. 5 days though would be a little too much and you could run across a problem or two like mold or the plant wilting away and loosing bud yeild.

have light right to the end
definatly. dont put the poor things in the dark if there is a diference in resin production im guessing it would be the same as if you had the light on for that extra two days. how would you feel if someone locked you in a pitch black room for 5 days than cut you apart.

I'd do maybe 36 hours of darkness if I was patient enough. 5 days sounds like entirely too much.

I agree, probably 20 days left on that girl, maybe 15.

we all agree that your girl needs a little more time, as for the complete darkness? I have read alot about the subject and the only logical answer is to call the breeder and see what their extensive research has proved. We all know how different each strain and pheno can be so there is no definitive across the board answer
