I have been working on small hydro grows. Using merely a fish tank air pump and a pitcher for a reservoir. It works great with any hydroponic nutrient you can buy on the shelves, but I wanted to try something that i just happened across. The Dollar General sells a bag of bird guano organic nutrients that can be made into a tea*. A 5-5-5 blend.
Could I fill a reservoir with said tea* and merely aerate with a pump to grow hydro-organically?
Would I have to change the reservoir frequently? I have no problem doing that. I figure adjusting the nutrient strength would be a challenge that i could just work out each day by day. Keep the salts from building up the best i can. I just really want to try this. Not that big a deal if i end up just wasting $5 bucks, but would hate to kill a plant. Maybe I'll try with bagseed.
