Hello,
I’m planning out a room and want to cover the a
Same footprint. I am also leaning towards CMH lights since the winters were I live are cold. I am going to use at least four 315’s or two 630’s. I am contemplating 6 315’s but that could be overkill. Since the footprint for a single 315 is like 3 x 2.5, I am worried that single lights in a row would fail to cover the four foot width adequately, which has me leaning towards x 2 630’s. I am impressed with the CMH light my friend is using to veg. I have not grown on my own in 35 years so I am reading a lot of forums and reading a lot. Good Luck. If I find out any info I will let you know.✌

Thank you for advice. Considering LEDs but worried about temps in winter. I am under impression that BTU per watt is same and maybe an over thinking it? My basement temps are about 65 -68 F in summer so afraid I might have to heat in winter? I am impressed with LED lights but also intimidated. I have never used one.

I contemplated 6 since I have the room and could probably extend footprint out a foot in either direction. I have seven feet 2 inches from rim of buckets to ceiling. Do you think that would be adequate height?

LST can make almost anything fit ;)

But if your doing that, I'd just go 2kW SE HPS and call it good.
It works.
