4x4 tent need help cooling her down!!!!

I have 4x4 tent with a cool tube hood currently running 240cfm fan blowing air from outside through the cool tube straight out to the other end .. I may need to re route the carbon filter or the ducting .. I have a portable ac unit that I can use. The temps are 82 f and 50% humidity.

82 is not bad. If you want lower cool the room the tent is in which in turn will cool the tent temps. If that is not possible negative pressure the tent area duct that hot air either to another room, outside or attic.
Hope that could be of some help.

Great! So just ad the carbon filter to one end and keep a passive intake through vents at the bottom of tent.. That should give me the negative pressure I want in the tent ... The room temp is 79 lowest and 81 highest outside of the tent.. My buds are taking to long to show any signs of resin .. Is this because if the hot air ?

No no hot air wouldn't do anything like. How many weeks are u in flower ? What kinda plant is it indica or sativa ? High heat you would see the damage. And yes passive intake would give you negative pressure. Just don't duct it back into the growing space, place it somewhere else.

I have had this problem over and over and I was dumping the hot air back into the room and just running an ac ALOT of the time. Than I cut a hole in the wall and sent it into the attic with the ac kicking on not as much. Heat is the part I hated dealing with.

hot air rises so you really want the carbon filter hanging in the top of the tent, and then get an intake fan to blow cold air in at the bottom
Yes, put the carbon filter at top helps with heat. Just be patience the resin will come in due time just keep taking care of it as you are looks good. It might just be a 10 + week flowering plant imho.
So just have carbon at top and duct heated air outside room grow space and you will be rocking. .

I will hang the filter tonight
Only reason I had it down was because I read it cooled the hood more if it was sucking cooler air from bottom of tent instead of the top hot air but it also makes sense to exhaust that first priority

My next plant ima throw into flower will be this Girl Scout cookie thin mint pheno I got for cali connection feminized seeds this was planted down in July it's been in veg for 2 mo toped 4 times

I see, ya top would be better because if your moving that heat off the lamp anyways, the heat in tent temps will automatically drop . Ladies look great. :D Keep up the good work.

So I raised the filter and my result were different than with it down so I just need to know where I need adjusting ..
Filterup : 84f-86f and 52-54 rh
Filter down: 82-83f and 44-46 rh ... What's better or easier to fix?

Ok so if it's not heat causing my bud density issues what is?! Waterings? Somebody help me grow bomb!! I want to grow fire!!
Here is day 1 of GSCimage.jpg

Also today I noticed temps dropping and there was more negative pressure in tent when filter was down .. I'm goin to continue running it low temps are now 81f 41-42% rh

You will be fine there. I just finished the grow from HELL. Ran a extra tent and did not have enough cooling. The lows were 85 and highs of 93. I have not even tried the stuff yet. Will end up in the trash probably.
