4x 1000w DE fixtures in a 12’x12’ space

Quick question, how many feet apart (center of hood to center of hood)should my lights be in the above scenario? The room is square, I will be using 4x 4’x4’ trays one under each light, 8 ft ceilings.

1000w has a foot print of 4x4 or 5x5 depending who you ask. Id space at 4-5ft.... to ensure even light distribution. Im not an expert but its theory i used for my tents

I ran my 1kw DE's in a 10x10x7 tent. Scrog was 5x5 under each light in back and the front was 4x5 which gave me a 2' wide path in the middle.

How many DE's total? I have a 5x5 and a 4x8. I run Sunsystem AC/DE's. 3 total. 2 in big tent 1 in small. As soon as I can affird it I want to experiment with new lighting. Chm or led
