yes, thats true. Well, the part that some people do it. As for wether or not it works, ive seen the opposite of what its supposed to do in that theory. I've done plenty of experiments with it. All that will happen is your plants wont have 12 hrs worth of energy each day it could of put toward starting to go into flowering. The cannabis hormone that triggers flowering is destroyed by light, when you go to flowering in 12/12 enough of it builds up to trigger the flowering process but heres the thing, It triggers flowering, it doesnt control how fast it goes. adding more than the needed amount to trigger flower is pointless.

possibly it might hasten up the beginning of flowering, but i doubt it, more likely you´d just see the plant stretch more.

low light or no light and the plant stretches, so it probably would in extra 12 hours of dark.

though probably slightly, ive tried this 48 hour (when i was starting out) and i did not see a reason to do so again.

did not see much stretch either (cant remember if any) but it was a terribly compact strain, 1mm to 1cm between nodes (under 2700 k cfls lol)

Good one i was going to say that.I just throw my plants in on a 12/12 scedule since i usually have a perpetual grow anyway

sounds like a plan ima try it then, today will be my first flowering day well in 48hr hours hahaha.
What about adding the nutes for flowering?? Should I had them before I turn of the lights or after I
turn them back on?? I have a batch ready of advanced nutes. Well just throwing it out there its sensi bloom

I check with my plants first and get an idea of their preference on the matter before I act. I've learned that plants love to talk and they love music, so I've been having some deep conversations with mine. Here is what they told me so far.....

They love rain water....
They LOVE direct sunlight, regardless of the myths you've heard...
They still get a chuckle out of the upside down seed debate.... lol
They absolutely abhor molasses of any shape or form
They love to have their tummies rubbed....

Everything else is just myth...

Grow it, experience it, smoke it, munchies....
