48 hour darkness?

Is 48 hours of darkness something I should do or is it something that I should over look?
Ik this question gets asked a lot but I just don't feel like wasting 2 days if I can get a head start on trimming lol also from hydro

there and article about the complete darkness thing before harvest, if i can find it ill post it up here, but supposedly its supposed to make your yeiled bigger or something like that.

This is what mine looked like after 48 hrs of dark time I say yes.

I think it's cosmetic, even if your plant produces new trichomes in such a short time, they will be under developed and contain almost no psychoactive chemicals. More trichomes will make your bud look more frosty and thus make it look more potent, so I guess it could have sort of a placebo effect. Just my two cents.

Makes sense I'm going to try it next harvest

However, I call BULLSHIT on those pics lol the time stamp is for the same day

i dont personally do the 2 days of darkness thing. i prefer ed's method.

I usually do 48 hr or 60 hr lights out. Never went back not doing. Shoot, I even trim under green light.
