I recommend:
- Germination Stage: 48-56 inch, 16-18 hrs.
- Vegetative Stage: 40-48 inch, 12-16 hrs.
- Flowering Stage: 24-40 inch, 10-12 hrs.

What kind of lights? 45w led really tells nothing. Who is "they"? dont over think pot size. If you are not running no till organic, it dosnt matter that much. With proper training and technique, container size is not as relevant as you would be led to believe. How do you plan on growing them?

led is new to me -(an old timer) the kind K3 L450 was my 1st pick - it will be my next if I go with LED's having a heat issue with the 2 running in that area - have a fan (90 +) degree - need a bibber fan or ezchaust. I forget how to figure "cfm's" for a grow space to detreme fan output/size ( forumal is total ft x ?)

I would go with whatever "they" said. I love leds but prefer to germinate under t5 flors. With such a high percentage of blue light, my guess is they will be less apt to get stretchy running your lights higher? Its easier to lower the lights if your babies are stretching then to try to nurse a scorched seedling. Ive never run blurple lights, probably never will so im not familiar with their behavior. I know my veg lights would torch a seedling at 12"

Hahaha, Exactly, I agree your views. I will determine his height according to the seedling situation. BTW,Are you measuring the temperature at the top of the canopy directly under the light? And are you recording your highest temperature with a record keeping thermometer?

i have a digital thermometer thats probe is at about average canopy level that i monitor. My veg is in my closet so my temp control is if i look at the gauge and it says 91°, i open my door. If it says 76°, i close it. I very rarely see heat stress, plants are plenty vigorous.

No one vegetates with a 12 hour light cycle.

Those blurple panels need to be closer, they aren't very powerful.

You can put it 4' away if you want to see how bad it is, then move it closer to get the job done.

Those 1W emitter Chinese panels are very weak.

You'll see.
