I will attatch pictures as soon as possible but at the momenent the best thing i can do is describe it to you.

The room is 1.5m x 2.0m and is painted mat white for reflection. I can't paint it another color or mylar it, it happens to be painted that color and i can't change it. So, suspended on chains from the top of the cupboard is a chain with a single 425 Watt output 2700K CFL suspended vertically over the pot. The plant is always about 6 inches from the top. I have a makeshift reflector made from a beer can and spray painted metallic silver. The pots are 1.75 gallons and i just used normal indoor potting soil from a garden center. I also have a big fan in the room which comes on for 2 hours a day in short spells. i.e 20 mins off - 20 mins on etc. So, lights are on 18/6 as it is auto-flower Snowryder (lowryder X). I haven't stared with nutrients yet as the plant is only 4 days old. I haven't bothered with a carbon filter as my dad doesn't care about the smell and airflow isn't a problem as i keep the door open at all times.

Anyone got any ideas for me that don't require any major DIY or too much money as i can't afford much.

Pictures soon.

Got two quick questions,

1) So it's only 3 weeks in, it is definitely a female but seems to be growing strangely. It is VERY VERY bushy, all is growing out to the sides and there is not much upwards growth and the space between the nodes is very small. I'm thinking about raising the light maybe 2-3 iches inches higher to encourage a little bit stretching.

2) Just found this light on the web. It's a growell 250watt HPS with ballast and reflector + bulb. It's £75 ($123 for you Americans).
