I'm wondering, High pressure sodium lamps,
1.How hot does a light get?
2.can I get away with growing with it without ventilation in a good size room during winter?
3.Should I be nervous as to who to buy lamps from?
4.how many plants can I grow under one light?
5.Is this a good deal?

1: quite hot, hav a fan blowing on the bulb
2ossibly but you will still need a fan in there and keep door open abit during lights on.
3:dont know
4: as many as you can fit in 1 msq, 4-6 imo.
5:dont know as im from uk, different prices.

well I intended on having a good size fan blowing on the plants to make them stronger and refresh CO2 etc., I meant coming directly off of the light, some kind of heat resistant piping, like the exhaust on drying machines.
