400w HPS Heat Problem

Recently i upgraded from a 150w hps to a 400w dimmable hps with a basic wing reflector
and the heat is horrible in my grow area (32" x 32" x 63" Tent)

Information:
The temps are around 82F to 95F inside the tent, while its around 70F to 75F in the room the tent is in.
(this is with the
wing reflector... a 6" booster fan for exhaust... and a single 11" x 3" passive instake vent)

So i was wondering if i replace the wing reflector with a cool tube, and have the 6" booster fan
pulling from one end and exhausting out the top of the tent (leaving the other end of the cool tube open)

would it make much of a difference in my temps?

Enormous difference. Almost no heat with a fan and a hood. I seal the hood with metallic ductwork tape to prevent smells from getting out and heat leaking in.

YES YES YES.....but put some type of debit filter over the open end or you will need to clean the cool tube constantly. They make specialty filter covers for vortex fans that would work great, but I have an old cloth diaper held on with a loop of elastic over the open side on my hood. While not perfect, it cuts my glass cleaning down drastically.

I'd push through the hood with the booster fan and then have a second booster fan pulling air out of the tent. I guarantee you after short time period that booster fan will be fried if you pull hot air through it. As a matter of fact if you have a power outage and the fan stops it wont start up again b/c the bearings will be spent from the hot air from the tube being pulled through it. Booster fans suck. It's happened to me 3 times pulling out of a hood with a booster fan. If you can, get a high velocity fan b/c those a far less likely to jam up, or do what I said and have two boosters, one pushing through the cool tube and another pulling air out of the tent.
IMO if you have a booster that stops working on you it could be a fire hazzard b/c it will get really hot in the hood. Who knows what could happen.
