Those prices are certainly attractive AJ.

My DIY filter cost as much just for all the pellets....but in the end
I have one serious monstrosity of a filter. :o)

I can refill it too, and will at the end of the calendar year in all likelihood.

This is the one thing that gets me....it would not be hard at all to design
these fan so as to allow the user to replace the carbon pellets. That they
do not is an example of basic, and obvious, "planned obsolescence".

Take care,

JD
JD, I was using DIY filter for quite some time and it was working just fine, but when I got a bigger light for my box I had to get some proper equipment to have my temps in check. But for all I know those DIY filter do work for small scale grows.

I think Gotham carries 6in filters which can be refiled the price is a bit higher like ten bucks I think but I'm not sure.

Yo Acid, have you tried any of gothams ballasts? Their light kits are REEALLy competitively priced. I could save like 100 bucks compared to HTG.

Yes ma'am, I'm using their Revolt 400w ballast right now :) can't say really nothing bad about it plus you getting nice three year warranty, it's very quiet , cool running. Very nice ballast over all I would def. recommend them. But I only had it for about 2 months.

I keep getting my clones to take so I always have more clones than I need. I take 2 every time just in case and they all work out. I'm sewing my own pots today. It's pretty cheap, I got a 6 dollar roll of the weed blocker at virtually any store and cut out "smart pots" with it and bam I have as many air pruning pots I could want. I use fishing line as sewing string. I need to find a local organic mix.
