i would wait till last possible minute...they appear to have a good 3 weeks left anyways imho
Shit I don't have 3 weeks I got 7 days ;) I'm driving my son to MI tomorrow for a spring break so I'll find out everything when they are coming and how long they're planning on staying in my house haha maybe I can work something out with my grandma haha I really don't want to chop them early I want them to be ripe and shit but will see how this all will work out.
And 3 more weeks that would seem like 10-11 weeks of flowering, seems a bit long but I'm still a noob haha

I hear you AJ. This situation is tough. I put myself in a similar situation
for my last Crop, as I mis-timed the clones for this crop and was forced out
of the tent a week or two early.

You will still enjoy good smoke, but do leave it as long as you can.

Lovely work.

Well, there mushrooms have the advantage. Just put the jars on the back of some shelf
where they will not be bothered.

If you ever have a jar that is too close to ready, but you are prevented from birthing it,
then just put it in the fridge. This will have the effect of stalling its growth.

Good luck,

JD

The bud in pic 7 seems near ready.

Can't you just hide your plants somewhere your family wont have access to? Like your bedroom?

Ms. Flame pic number 7 that would be CK and that bud is the biggest bud I ever saw in real life for fuck sake this thing is huge (or maybe it just looks that way in my mind) haha

Naah not doable, I can't move my box not in this stage, it takes a bit of a muscle/moving to put that box in where is it at right now.
Besides my bedroom is small and wide open so box made out of plywood would def. stand out haha plus I don't think my wife would even let e put that box in out bedroom, but I still got till next thursday so will see where the plants will be at that point. They'll def. will be closer then further haha

That is why I love having a basement with seperate rooms. I don't have to worry about company coming over and opening the door to the furnace/water heater room.

Well, there is still an issue...unless you want to share your new
mycological hobby with the family...as fruiting mushroom need light.
We typically hang a 6500K CFL over the GH or SGFC.

If you have cakes that are near ready, then know that they need
an extra week to "consolidate", and you could easily put off birthing
them until after the visit.

Just a thought.

P.S. Have you guys ever tried for sclerotia?

^ I am going for some.... got 6 pints of rye shot up with P. galindoi spores. I'm also sitting on a Pollock print ...another sclerotia producing species.

Good stuff.

The ATL7 makes stones well, and you can still spawn the grains to
a bulk sub after harvesting the stones.

I god mad prints which was useful as ATL7 prints, esp from strong grows,
are highly desired and trade-able.

Take care,

Hey acid,

What nutrients are you using on the Fruity Chronic for flowering?
Ms. Flame using Fox Farm line up, but didn't have to use it a lot because of my soil mix, but still even with the soil mix I had to feed them a bit in late stage of flowering.

So here are some pictures of the girls from just a minute ago IMAG0906.jpgIMAG0907.jpgIMAG0908.jpgIMAG0909.jpgIMAG0910.jpgIMAG0911.jpgIMAG0912.jpgIMAG0913.jpgIMAG0914.jpgIMAG0915.jpgIMAG0916.jpgIMAG0917.jpgIMAG0918.jpgIMAG0919.jpgIMAG0920.jpgIMAG0921.jpgIMAG0922.jpgIMAG0923.jpgIMAG0924.jpgIMAG0925.jpgIMAG0926.jpgIMAG0927.jpgIMAG0928.jpg

I'll keep them till the last minute which is thur. night. I know they're not quite ready yet but I don't have any other choice. I scoped the plants while taking pictures and all I see is cloudy, cloudy, cloudy couldn't find any clear ones but I couldn't also find any amber ones either lol.. so maybe within net three days I'll see some amber ones appear.

Hey AJ,

Am I wrong in suggesting that there is no better harvest indicator
than 0% clear resin glands?

i.e. we look for some "low % amber" only in an effort to gauge
when the "middle" of the ripeness occurs.

But this assumes that there are both clear and amber on the
tails of this probability distribution.

OK, I'm stoned. :0)

Great stuff all around.
