Heya RIU,

I've been lurking for a pretty long time and decided to try out my own grow after reading all the successful grows that i've seen on the site. really jealous of some of them

so i headed down to my local hydro and began to construct my bubbler system.

its got 4 netpots (should increase it to 6 maybe the next time i head down to the hydro shop)

2 12 inch airstones
im using some nutes that i bought from the hydro shop called plantastic... hahaha they dont have FF nutes so i was sorely disappointed.

I germinated them in paper towels in a ziplock bag on top of my router and covered it with a bowl. all my seeds sprouted. ( i used distilled water to germinate them)

those seeds are
2 x celtic berry
2 x white widow (fem)

sooo now they're sitting in the bubbler system.

I think i have way too big a reservoir. i could probably go for a long holiday and the plants will have more than enough water.

right now they have 2 sets of leaves, the celtic berry has 6 sets.

i have got a small fan blowing at them 24/7
the light schedule is 18/6 on 400w hps

am i missing anything out?

i check the water once a day to make sure the PH is right
currently about 5.5 which is pretty good i suppose

1 of my celtic berry seeds has not popped out of the rockwool yet but the roots are growing down and out of the rockwool into the hydrotron balls. ( any advice on that?)

the temperature in the closet is not hot at all( i dont have a thermometer)

the light is about 12inches from the plant and the fan is oscillating up down left right so it's keeping the air cool i suppose.

Pictures using my shitty cell cam

closet grow

you can see the 3 tiny plants

left most is celtic berry
middle 2 are white widow
right most is the celtic berry that hasnt sprouted but it has roots and shit so i dont know whats going on.

thats the 400w HPS
and the fan that keeps everything in check

Looks good for the most part but if that hps isn't vented 12" seems a little close especially for young plants but I'm far from a pro indoors. Other than that its lookin good keep it up I'm pullin up a chair for this one. :weed:

sorry bout that it was 400w hps for awhile then i changed it to 100w CFL cuz it was wayy too hot in there, my reservoir water was getting warm = not so many air bubbles + possibility of root rot so i changed it.

they're from seed and about 3/4 weeks old? i dont know when i can take clones...

any ideas?

thnx for reading :)

think i have a case of bugs not sure what

this is a copy of my post in plant problems if you guys happen to read this journal and know what it is please help thnx!

Heya guys,

This is my first grow dwc, and my widows have been attacked! what are the odds of an indoor grow in a closet being hit by these problems.

I think there's smth burrowing into my leaves? how do i get them out ASAP!

Please leave your idea of what you think the problem is and solutions!

this is the widow

these bumps just started appearing recently!

am i over paranoid?

if you look closely at the middle bottom right
a chunk of the leaf has been bitten off?

this is probably some burn from the overzealous light

I hear people talking about how purple stems are bad for the plant... Also for this above pic the strain is celtic berry not ww

diagnostics please plant doctors!
