400 watt wing reflector -Vs- T5 8 bulb fixture

Title says it all folks! I know this topic has been talked over again and again and the main issue is heat from the 400 watt. Could the heat possibly do my plants justice when it comes to how dry the soil will get? Right now my plants soil beds stay moist for 3-5 day. I feel like if i would be watering more it would do great things for the girls. Dry soil = more watering. Another thing check out these prices the t5 is pretty but if the 400 watt will be better ill buy that! I have both of those the 400 with an air cooled hood puts out less heat, the t5 setup i only use for veg.I have to water my plants in flower more often when they are a bit root bound
