400 watt SLH, lemon skunk, amnesia lemon

Hey all, well I am new to these forums but I am trying to get my grow log off the ground.

Background
-I moved into my house and in my room i have a seperate section with a window in it. I lined the room with mylar installed a in window fan which will be enclosed and shut off and a can fan with carbon filter will be installed in the light shield. There is a tarp up in the entrance way to this room with a air intake and a zipper for easy access.

Lighting
-I am running a HTG 400 watt HPS with a MH conversion bulb for vegetative.

Growing medium
-5-5 gallon grow bags with foxfarm ocean soil

Nutrients
-Advanced nutrients grow and bloom. I want to keep this grow simple.

Genetics
-Green house farm Super lemon haze, Barneys farm amnesia lemon, barneys farm Red diesel, DNA La woman, DNA lemon skunk.

My ideas
-I plan to do a 2X2 screen scrog with two plants under the screen with two more plants next to them that are going to be LST and fimmed.

I had some severe light leaks that could leak to hermies later on in life so I am breaking down my system packing up the mylar and the tarp. I ordered a 4X4X7 grow tent and everything should be in by middle of next week. So stay tuned i should be updating more frequentely. Its just kinda boring at the moment.

11/09/09 So my bag seed plant is looking real nice, a little overwatering in the beginning. The SLH and 2X amnesia lemon have a pretty long stem, they came out from the soil like that. The LA woman is looking really nice just transplanted the la woman into a larger solo cup. They are starting out in the smaller cups then to solo cups then to 5 gallon bags.

11/13/09- I fertilized for the first time today, the slh and la woman are looking really good. The bag seed plant is looking real nice. with the first set of true leaves showing signs of overwatering, but that has been corrected. I also have along with the advanced nutrients iguana grow and bloom i got advanced nutrients pirahna, voodoo juice, and wet betty organic. I added another fan pulling air from the room into the tent to keep the temperatures down.

Anyone have a valuline fan and the screws dont fit?

Also on my amnesia lemon's the leaves are folding up on themselves. And the first set of true leaves are just developing. I will get a pictures tonight, it just seems a little weird that its taking this long while the other two that where germinated and such at the same time have their fan leaves already.

11/15/09 Everything is working out well, I added a PC fan and a small clip on fan to pull air from the outside room into the tent. It keeps the temperature steady at 80 +/- 4 degrees. I added pirahna to the watering schedule and it seems like the roots love it.

Yeah so i went home and im trying not to think about how they are doing. Hope they are doing alright

I am going to add a DIY CO2 generator, I plan to have 2-3, 1 gallon containers with yeast sugar and water in them with a air hose connected to the top to direct the flow.

12-02-09 So I came to the realization that these plants are going to get big and im going to need a light for next year so i broke down and purchased another 400 watt HPS with a digital ballast. They are all looking real nice, showing signs of overwatering, but other then that they are looking real nice. I started to LST when I got home, the LA woman was fimmed and all will be allowed to grow out while the rest get LST and then allowed to veg. They will be throw into flowering around january 2-3.

So on a side note my 180 gallon reef aquarium is being taken down, so I have 3 250 watt digital mh ballast's that i will use at a later time to veg plants.

looks good man, in sure the slow ones will catch up once they start growing more vigorously. im sub'd so ill be checkin in

How did the Amnesia Lemon turn out?

Not even 1 year old, just looking to find out how the amnesia lemon turned out.

i have 1 amnesia lemon in flowering almost done and its fucking dank as fuck
tons of trichs ans seems fast as hell for anything with any amount of haze in it
i have a utopia haze 6 weeks behind it with g13/haze way behind too
this amnesia lemon could be a keeper

the amnesia lemon is one of the most outstanding strains ive grown......and im grown a few lol
it has a lemon yeasty smell (like when ur making homeade bread) with a pungent smell and flavor hard to describe
i would say with some tweaking this could actually be a commercial strain

yeh i grew some too, a lot of different pheno's though (2 ended up purple), but very powerful strain. Recommended for people that like a short flowering sativa based plant.

i bought a single seed.........need to buy a whole pack
