Here's a update of my 13 days old girls. And day 4 of Veg. I just fed them their 2nd big bloom this week. Gave them 3 tsp in a one gallon jug.

Can someone tell me if this is a deficiency or toxicity?

Hey guys sorry for the late update. Heres my girls at 2 weeks of veg.
I just fed them 3 1/2 tsp of big bloom and 1 tsp of grow big.
My ph is 6.2 and my ppm is around 370-390.

I topped 3 of them and thinking of doing a scrog for 4 in the 5 gallon or just bonzai all of them.
What do you guys think?

My temps right now are around 77-84 average. With 82 being the most stable.
Is the low 80s okay for flowering? Or do i need to get another inline fan?

my 2nd best plant i've ever harvested ran into 110f temps many times.

So long as ur high temps are not all the time I wouldnt worry too much.

In future grows try to find ways to control your temps better, but as your dialing in your growspace don't lose sleep over a few high temps.

Just my 0.02

This plant, although it wasnt 100% healthy, hit those high temps. Shit was insane, it smelt like warm mangos and flowers.

This was my 2nd grow, i've harvested about 35 different plants at this point.

This is the only strain i'm growing right now, clones from my white OG mother, only posting cuz this is the only strain/plant that i've grown that has turned out better than the one that hit many 110f's

84 aint nothin to sweat, unless your doing hard work in 84f hah. then you'll sweat but only literally.

Also, i suggest you swap them to bloom pretty soon. With that many plants they will very easily fill your space. I'd say give em like 3 more days of veg then swap to bloom; that way you won't have a bunch of larfy airy nugs at the bottoms of the plant and they will still fill your canopy

Fox farm is good nutes, thats what I grew the first plan't i posted with. the 2nd nug i posted I grew 100% organic

Thanks for the advice and support man.
When my tent is closed my temps are 90 degrees and i have my ac on 65. My inline right now is a 445cfm ventech. So im not sure how my temps are still fluctuating up to that point. My ducting is in my tent pulling air and my fan is exhausting into my closet.

This is my first grow with hid since i was using cfls before and have never harvested with those piece of shit lights.
Im exited for this round. All of them growing fast and healthy.

Based off of that I have 2 POTENTIAL suggestions that might make a difference. Not in any order of greatness.

A. Get a hood that you can attatch your 445cfm fan to, and add ducting to vent directly through your hood (This will set you back $90-140)
B. Try putting your inline fan through different holes of your tent. Maybe one of them will do the trick?

Even 90f won't be detrimental to your harvest, you'll still chop plenty of dank. I'd suggest by harvest 2 or 3 of your tent try to find a way to drop your temps, but for now like I said you will still chop plenty of dank. My 2nd grow was my best until grow 5, and I had a non ventable hood with high ass temps. My only grow better so far was with a 1000w hps in a 3x3 because during winter it ran like 69f, plus i had learned plenty at that point.

But yeah, a ventable hood could make a nice difference, more cirulation fans pointing up to your exhaust inline fan could make a difference, but its always hard to say.

Again though probably the most important point, flip those ladies to bloom in just a few days. 400w HPS is a great light, but it won't offer enough light to penetrate deep into a very tall canopy; if you keep your plants shorter you will have fatter nugs with a similar if not better yield than if they got tall; but you will save your self 2 pains and a needle in an ass cheek when it comes to trimming!

Trimming "shit nug" is a pain; unless you just pop it off and dry it with your trim to make BHO (even then only if you have a vacuum purge and all the stuff u need to make BHO). Bubble hash is nice but the yields are "pathetic" at least in my experience, you will be very disappointed when/if you drop cash on bubble bags and put a ton of trim and shit nug in there and get almost no hash; even though some of it will be chronic.

What do you think about keep lsting till i get a nice thick but short canopy you know? Just to add a little more bud sites and growth? Maybe flip in 5-7 days?

I just tied down my girls yesterday and flipped to 12/12.
Hopefully ill see some preflowers in less then a weeks time.. im keeping my mh on during the first 2 weeks of the stretch phase to help keep them squat. Then i will switch to the hps.

1 or 2 weeks before harvest ill be switch the hps back to the MH to build up that trich production.

My suggestion was to run your MH for the first 2 weeks of flower, then switch to the HPS, but youve got that down already. Haha. From my personal experience it really helps cut down on stretch. When I used bottled nutes, I made sure to run my veg nutes alongside flower nutes, until stretch stopped. Which is usually day 14-18 of 12/12 for what I grow. Tent looks great though man.

Thanks for the reply man.
So i should still give her veg nutes like grow big till stretch stops?
How many days into 12/12 till i see preflowers?

Have you tried switching back to mh for the last week or 2 of flowering? To produce more trichs?

I do when I use bottled nutes. It varies for strain and veg time on how long before the first flowers strart. I usually do 8-12 week veg times, so mine have preflowers before they even see 12/12. And I use LEDS alongside my HPS the final few weeks of flowering.

Thanks for all the info bro. Ill keep using big bloom till stretching stops. And ill add my mh back into my flower room the last 2 weeks of flower.

Whats up guys here's a little update.

Day 5 of 12/12 still no signs of sex.

I just fed them 3tsp of big bloom, 3tsp of grow big, and .25tsp of foxfarm open sesame. My ph was 6.2-6.4 and the ppm was ranging from low 500's to low 600's. i had different ppms because i had to mix my gallon with some very soft filter water because my ppms were in the 800's s0 that was to much nutes.

I always did some more lst to try and keep and even canopy. And i just switched my MH bulb to my HPS bulb.

Anyways guys how do they look?
Thanks for any advice in advance as well as criticism. Cheers (;

Here's an official update for you guys!

Day 32 Day 4 of flower

I have some bad news as well as some good news. Bad news is that i had to kill 4 males that were in my 5 gallon pots ):
But good news is that i still have 5 females (:

I just fed my girls in the smaller pots i believe they are 1g or 2g pots.
2tsp big bloom, 1 2/4tsp grow big , 2tsp of tiger bloom, and 1/4tsp of open sesame.
Ph:6.3-6.4 PPM:800-820

My normal temps are around 81 degress.
77 on cool days. My a/c is running at 65 degrees so i dont get why it's still warm.
Purchasing a 8in inline and going to use my 6in for intake.

I have leaves curling in on my main lady.
Is that heat stress? Or air blowing from my fans?

Also going To raise my smaller ones to get closer to the light.
What do you guys think?

Looks good man!

I was gonna suggest propping up your smaller plants but seems like your already on that idea.

81f aint bad, could be a little better but it definitely isnt bad.

Fox farm nutes have made me some pretty awesome buds before. Be careful with overfeeding with Grow Big and Tiger bloom, they are awesome but strong.

Big bloom is super awesome too though, its really low NPK with lots of awesome things in it; its "difficult" to overfeed with that.

I havent used open sesame before, and I now use roots organics products mostly. That being said if I ever went and tried fox farm again (which I very well may at some point) i'd likely include it in my grow. 1/4tsp seems appropriate though, definitely a product thats easy to overdo just cuz its high NPK dry formula.

Can you post some close up pics of the one you think has heat stress? I couldnt pinpoint it in your pics

ALSO. It may be worth keeping some males alive in another small area even with just a little CFL lighting on 12/12. That way if you have a male that looks like it has good structure you can cross it with a female that you really like. But that may be an entirely irrelevant idea and theres many reasons for that.

Also, if thats your phone's camera you may be able to light balance. If you select "incandescent" it should filter the yellow light out and everything should look as if it were under white light; it would help people spot issues, also it would help us resolve your issues!

Here's some better pictures with the incandescent filter.

All my plants seem to have the leaves curling in.
One plant its curling in and up.
What do you guys think it is?
