400 watt hps or CFL'S

is the cool tube as good as the other 400w light?

both. you would just be getting a 400w hps system upgraded with a cool tube...

in the (buds for less. SEEMOREBUDS book) they start flowering at day 16 using "CFL'S",.............with the 400w hps when would i have to start flowering?

wut is the best light to use if only growing one plant?how many wattz ,lumens ect.

no problem. well you could just get something like this High Tech Garden Supply if you scoll down there are options at the bottom. just pick the cool tube reflector for a $70 add on. comes to just under $200 total...

If your only growing 1 plant i think i would be a good idea to use CFL'S

well i have 8 but im keeping 1 seperate from the rest cause of lack of space so i need to get a new light..how many watts u think?4 just the 1

veg or flowering? 2 42w CFLs should be fine...

sorry for butting in! but how much does a 400w bulb & ballaste cost$ ???
and can i use the same bulb for veg & flower phases?

$120 High Tech Garden Supply but i wouldnt recommend using the same light for veg and flower. you can get something like this with both lights for $165... High Tech Garden Supply

its mid veg...so 2 42 watt cflz should be good with that?

yeah thats enough for now. you might want 3 or 4 when you get later into flowering...

whith the one that costs $165 and also adding the cool tube option, would this be good for a complete grow (veg and flowering?)

yup perfect for as many plants under a 4x4 foot area.

what would be the best soil and ferts to use? i was thinking of using (botanicare sweet) and some stuff from www.eelriverhydroponics.com

that works. i use fox farm ocean forest soil along with all their nutes. its up to you...

how do i measure the ammount of nutes that is suposed to go into my plant?
wasnt it parts per million or something like that???
