i ordered a 400cfm exhaust, and a 240 cfm intake inline 6 inch fans..

my setup now is a 6 inch house fan up pushing air threw the hood and out the vent and out the tent, and another 6 inch house fan on the floor next to the open vent blowing in air from the room... temps are 86-90 day,65 night

thast not good i know growth stunts at 86 but i didnt think i would be a t risk of fire its not that hot in there i can chill in there with them for as long as i wanted as long as i had a drink :weed:....

i just got my big fan today should i go ahead and set that bad boy up...

I wondering if i got a problem of making to much air leave the room and not enough coming in..

I would say try to get the temp to drop a little bit with that new fan. Your temps are not outrageous and I wouldnt worry about setting a house on fire @ 90 degree;s LOL Also as one dude said getting the fans in the right spot will help too.

use passive intake.. i heard it should be twice as big as the out take. i got a 4 inch out take, i got 2 4 1/2 inch passive intakes.

yep, i built mine myself. i just drilled 2 holes. one on each side. the air sucking out through the top will pull the air in through the bottom and circulate it. i got 2 oscillating fans 6 inch. one on each side in the corner on low blowing across the tops of the plants. i dont think two is needed, but it rather have more then not enough and i got a 400w not 1000w. i was going to upgrade to a 6 inch fan and filter because i currently got a 4 inch but i dont know if i need a 6 inch since it can cool a 1000w lol.

i have vents open in the tent for now..

when i get my 240cfm intake fan il be closing the vents up, hopefully making the temps drop more...

oh and temps are now 82-86 after fan,,hopefully will be 75-80 after intake fan

you shouldnt need a intake fan. the fan you got sucking the air out will make air go in through the vents.
