And yeah, I'm just messin with ya. :P
There really is no way to tell until its done
ohhhh she? well heeelllllooooo ;) just kidding lol yeah I know you cant really tell till its over, the main thing that's getting me worried is the single branch that's got a light all to itself is looking worse than two sharing a light lol like WTF!? plus ive invested fair bit of power in it don't want it to be less than I could have bought

Even if it is don't look at it that way.
In the long run you will learn from your mistakes and eventually the profit to loss margin wont be worth thinking about. You will just be killing it.

shit. I might just move it outside then. if 200w only yields 21g growing under lights seems pretty fucking stupid, youd need 2000w just to get a half decent yield! your power bill would make that worthless :/ this is bullshit

If you use the hackneyed guide 1g per watt, you should target 200 grams dried with 200w of light output.

However.......some do not define the 200 grams....is it "top shelf bud" or everything the plant yields?
Some do not include all the electrical draw, some people do.

But I was wrong earlier about the 21g (I was looking at it on a small phone screen...sorry about that), now that I can see it on a computer monitor its clearly going to yield about a pound of grade a top shelf.

shit really? First off youre right mate I was freaking out a little though all that light for 21g is NOT economical lol but I don't know about a pound, its really not fattening up on one side and the two branches that look good are only about 5cm wide atm but hey youd probably know way more than me by far maybe shell really fatten, 3 weeks or so ago she only had a pistil here and there. id be happy with 2-3 ounces with the effort ive put in tbh

oh and yeah I was using that rough guide I think but I was going .25g a watt I was expecting at LEAST 50 that's why I started posting I'm like that don't look right lol

nice? id smoke that in less than a week, probably used 100s of dollars in power. this is fucked

dude are you retarted? maybe if you werent growing in a fucking box. and actually used some good lights. atleast a 600w hps light. you can get a ballast and a hood for 100 bucks. if you cant get that together and go on craigs list and find a deal, then you dont need to be growing. and also genetics are very important, using bag seed isnt gonna be worth it no matter what light you have. i have a 600w light, only cost me 30 bucks a month to run. i know for a fact your not paying hundreds of dollars to run a couple t8's. you sound like a noob just saying that you pay hundreds of dollars.. go do some math.

Cheap screw in LED bulbs. Below the girls are three weeks from flipping switch to flower. I still have hopes for a gram per watt but only time will tell. I have grown many crops under HPS and MH, so I have that as reference during this first grow with this set up. FWIW
nice :) I'm just gonna let this girl finish, see what I get and I think ill keep that fluoro setup for gentle vegging and get a high powered one for flowering

Just thought id add this onto this thread easier than making another one for a simple question lol I spotted 60w floodlights at the store the other day, the box doesn't specify lumens or even light type I'm pretty sure its either LED or halogen though, plus its directed downwards in a one eighty degree arc I'm pretty sure it said, given that its a floodlight would it have good penetration for growing? And also how would I check if its the right spectrum for flowering/vegging or if itll do both? (obviously being 60w id need more than 1 lol but they did have 100w ones as well)

Buy a real grow light.... it's like wiping your ass with coffee filters instead of toilet paper, you can do it but you're going to scratch your asshole..
