4 weeks from seed, 24/0, showing pistils...

Hey all,

something interesting I have found in my garden… I have a Nirvana Ice seed I planted about a month ago which has been under a 24/0 light cycle since the beginning, and it is totally shitting out pistils left and right.

It is NOT an autoflower, and the power hasn't gone out at all. Looks very healthy all in all, just have never had this happen before.

Is this normal? Is there an explanation for something like this to happen?

Any info would be great, I'd love to expand my knowledge if anyone has anything to share. Thanks!

That Strain was the absolute longest flowering strain I have ever grown..Never again.I swear it was 12 week's of flower..

Really? That's no fun… I hope it was only the phenotype that you had. I hate long flowering strains!

Yes it's normal. Means it's mature and ready for flowering. Fastest I had was 4 weeks and was male, usually takes more like 5-8 weeks, differs per strain. You can still continue to veg, it's just preflowers.

Thanks for the reply sir! Wasn't sure how normal it was considering the plant isn't terribly big or mature looking haha, but that makes me feel better to know!
