Roots in clonner

It's been about 7 days since I took cuttings and put them in my bubbler cloner. The cuttings starting budding a couple of days ago and the roots promptly grew out of the buds.

I'll veg the new clones in the bubbler for a week or two, then transplant to 6" pots. I've got 19 clones and only need 4, so 12 clones go to friends who grow and the other 3 I'll think of something to do.

How do you like that bubble cloner? Thinking about getting one.

That’s some serious light for that small of a footprint. Each one of my 1000’s are on a 5x5 foot print, but on movers and my 800, in veg has a 4x6 footprint, on a mover. My movers are only set to go 12-16”. Just enough to get the shadows. Are you running CO2? Definitely need to run that to max out yields!
whats your yield in a 5x5 with co2. they claim they can hit 2.5-3.5. ive been wanting to buy a 800 and test it for myself

I’ll be able to tell you in September. I just got them a few months ago and will be flowering in a month. Hoping 4 plants a footprint will be the ticket. My flower room is 8x16.5x8.25, and veg is 5x14. So they’ll have plenty of room to fill in nicely. Also have some going outside, in my greenhouse. Just take them out on the sunny days. Here in Washington we haven’t had many if those recently but they’re still kicking ass.

you should try SOG in that 4x4. fit as many clones u can, flower them for 2 weeks and flip. and keep ur temperature at 84-86 and rh of 70% up until week 3, and drop ur temp slowly 2 degree everyweek and rh 5%. by the time ur in week 8, ur rh should be in the 45-50% and temp around 75ish. hope that works

The Black Dog says to run in the mid 80’s, while flowering, with Co2.

yea it was implied. but without co2 u can run it between 80-83
I have a burner that’ll be controlled by Saturn 6. So I’ll be able to dial in the co2 at 1500ppm. Also running a sealed room and A/C is a split. So no CO2 will be wasted and it’ll be able to maintain ppm levels longer and more efficiently. So I’d didn’t really pay attention to or research running Black Dog without Co2.

i wouldnt run it at 1500. ive heard ppl run into problems with ethylene at 1500.
900-1000 more than enough juice. im excited for you bro, goodluck on the grow.

Day 17 of flower, 21 days since my first defoliation.

All four plants are budding early so I did my second stripping a few days early.

Just before defoliation:

I've got a slide scrod that I bought from Black Dog, just lower it slowly while adjusting the colas. I made the mistake of ordering a trellis with 6 inch holes instead of 3.5.

Set up for another leaf regrowth then the buds will fill in.

I love the bubble cloner but it needs some upgrades - the pump didn't work so I bought an aquarium pump, works better. I'm going to add a second airstone and a second pump to spread out the bubbles.

The really great thing about this cloner is the water circulating pump, the rooting started and was thickest in front of the pump.

I know the BDL guys use Dyna Gro in Veg but I believe they use Success Nutrients for the flower stage. I am a Advanced Nutrients guy my self but have seen the Success line kick butt so if I switched it would be to that.

You following the BDL grow alongs on youtube? Great stuff! Black Dog LED YouTube Channel
.

Do you have a link to Success Nutrients? For some reason they're not coming up for me.

Dude, Success Nutes are the goods and they have the BEST customer service in the business. If you get in touch with them, they’ll most likely give you 30% off. I chat daily with the West Coast Regional Rep, via text. He’ll help with anything, anytime. Awesome company! I can talk to him and get you hooked up, if you’re seriously interested.

Personally, the results have been awesome! Let’s just put it this way, Success is so confident in their product, they offered to sponsor, my boy, 100 gallons worth of feed a day, for one full grow. He’s a commercial grower, with a few buildings going. A company doesn’t offer that unless they are confident they have an outstanding product that’ll out perform others. Otherwise, they’d be out of business by doing this, because nobody would ever switch over!

The clones are coming along great. I snipped the bottom branches on 2, just letting them grow and develop a root ball.

My flower garden is only at 23 days and the plants are all budding well. I think I'll get +800 grams off this grow, lots of bud sites and probable long colas.

I messed up the Blue Dream - front right. The side branches are the same length all around but they're bent up on one side where they were pushed against the tent.

4 of the clones have gotten to their new home, I've got 4 left to deliver and 4 for myself.

On page one F80M4 asked why I would spend $270 on 4 plants. With these 12 clones and the original 4 that makes 16 clones for $270 rather than just 4, so instead of $77 a plant harvested we're down to around $16 per plant harvested. To be harvested.

If the bud is good I'll run some of the perpetual clone chain for years.

.
That is steep for clones, but not steep if clone place does pheno hunts and you’re getting a unicorns of the strains. Here in Washington, the next town over from me, has a clone place where it’s $25 clone, $15/ea if you get 11 or more of same strain. I’m medical, so I can only get 15 a month from the place. But they also sell to commercial grow ops!
