Got two of the cheese plants trimmed and in paper bags now. Looking to get around 2 1/2 ounces per plant from them. The bigger cheese will most likely be closer to 4 ounces. Drying nice and slow in 60-65 degrees. Took 8 days before I trimmed up the smaller plants and broke em down into individual buds. Gonna let the big one go maybe closer to two weeks

Thanks man. They seem to be enjoying themselves. Added a bit more worm castings this time and slightly heavier on the dry nutes mixed in this time. Wanting to see how long I can go without giving more than a quarter dose liquid feed once a week. I just noticed I’m doing the opposite of normal with the lighting. Lol. Flowering plants under all 6500 k fluros and vegging plants under the hps. It was the only way to make it work. Lol. Not the crazy stretch i thought I’d see with the hps bulb. I can see the difference between this one and the ultra sun bulb in a good way..atleast to me. I don’t like the super red look from the other bulb. Makes it hard to inspect the plant. Atleast for me. This one is a bit more toward yellowish I guess

you dont have any glasses to view the hps bulbs while they are on ?

I use some junk ones. My eyes are light sensitive anyways. I need to pick up some quality ones now that you mention it and stop putting it off. My eyes are already bad enough

Been smoking the cheese today. Still needs more time to dry but is a nice stone. A few people tried it who were critical and honest of other grows and they said they loved it. Still has that moist taste where you know it’s not hitting you as hard as it will when it’s dryer. Nice set in stone though. Smoked 8-9 bowls and only once crackle. Before, I was getting atleast a few crackles the first hit of every bowl and sometimes crackle on the second hit. Floating a theory that’s incomplete to you..I made a switch to just filling my jug with cold tap water instead of having both the hot and cold on. For many grows I was running both to make it about room temp. Thought came to mind that I may be getting something from the hot water that’s caused ovules to enlarge. I don’t know what it can pick up in the process of coming out of the tap but just wondered as I suspect my water al the way. Anyways, I came to this idea and made the switch to just cold about 4 weeks into flower.

Glad to hear its already nice smoke, even if its not quite dry yet. I've been sampling mine daily as it dries and its getting better and better

As far as the hot water thing, I suppose its possible. I don't know how likely,but possible. Try testing the ppm of the hot water and see if its noticably higher?

I will. I thought about it after I went to buy some Ro water from this business near me. They were talking about free water testing and told me to bring sample of just the water from the cold. Got me thinking about there being a possible difference. Anyways, I continued to use just the cold from tap just to see and idk. Should have just got it tested but I’m a procrastinator. New plants have all be RO water only. Yea, the smoke is just now coming into the beginning of the zone. I suspect it’s still only a shadow of what it will be in a few weeks. I’m more than happy. Haven’t been this happy about anything I grew for a few yearsGlad to hear its already nice smoke, even if its not quite dry yet. JAck 47 got th chop. Blue widows still going here. They’ve gotten ate up good by the mites but they’re still packing on weight and really strong smell. Buds are very oily if rubbed against. Buds looking better than last run of it. Side note..I have absolutely no problem smoking mites. Lol. These are the only plants where sugar leaves got a lot of damage. I’m sure I’ll be smoking the fuckers. Won’t be the first time

Smoke is pretty heavy already. A bit chesty at first but i tend to get a little anxious with some strains at the beginning. Pretty even hybrid feel. Not a total chill out smoke or deep thinker kind of smoke but it gets the mind going And relaxes the muscles. . I’ve been pretty busy this morning and I have to sit and think about what I’ve actually done. Has me blaring the radio and I haven’t done that in a long time. Good for laughs for sure. Hoping it keeps getting better
