4 plant 6-8 colas vs 9 plants single cola

What do you think? In a 3 *3 bloom room; 4 plants 6-8 colas in 5 gal smart pots vs 9 in 3 gal grow bags with 1- 3 colas or single cola. Wich will produce more if vegged for 8-10 or 12 weeks. Wich is better? Why? Keep in mind no plant limits. But space limited to 3*3 and under 5*3
I will try both at somepoint and am used to 8 cola but very interested in opinions or others experiences.

In my experience less is more

Depends on timing. Why not 9 4 cola plants I do 4 8s in a 2.5x2.5

Idk , I think it would get crowded in the pot and the canopy. Gonna go imagine it in 3d with some cherry og.

you might be right, probably can't fit 9 5 gallons in there can you, 9 4s could work in the 3 gal maybe. Your not gonna grow then too tall right

if you're going to lean that way, make it an even dozen in 2 gallon bags and sail the sea o' green

Some pots are not measured in gallons. you could get 9 ten inch pots in there. You can grow a good size plant with 4-6 tops in a ten inch pot.

pots that are measured in gallons are usually in "trade gallons" which is really a lot closer to 3 quarts
