Wow what a frustrating 4 months...:sad::sad: Spider mites and Powdery Mildew have done me in....I kept fighting and believing that I had it under control but it was a battle every step of the way.... Looking back, I should have just cut and run....or more appropriately cut and replanted....
2 months of Veg because of heat problems, bought an A/C unit and air cooled hood...problem solved....spider mites popped up and I battled them in many ways, losing my mother plant in the process. Then the PM reared it's ugly head and I treated and treated and treated.... Only to end up with buds full of PM.... and 1 plant totally taken over by spider mites.....fuck....it all just went in the trash.....probably dropped $1,200 on electricity alone....fuck...did I say that already? Just fuck....

From the problems you state I bet the location of your room is the main Problem. First clean your space. No, Clean the fuck out of your space. Probably has mold spores to spider mites to whatever else. Better yet seems like you have problems controlling conditions in that area. Move your entire operation to an area where you can control temperature and humidty and exposure to outside pest. Yes Fuck is right. Four months for you to learn that lesson. Look at is as experience. Pick up start again. Was this hydro?

Yes this was hydro and I also had pump problems which caused my plants to sit in water through their whole dark period several times.....of course causing high humidity during lights out....I'm going to gut the room and my hydro system and start from scratch. I also lost all of my Grape Ape clones to spider mites, which really sucks because I have not been able to find Grape Ape clones anywhere in NorCal....This grow was Afgoo....

Einstein Oil for the mites, I've never once heard of it failing. I'm not going to beg you to use it cause I'm just tired of trying to talk people into the correct solutions for their problems, the info is yours to do what you wish.

And why do you newbies choose to torture yourselves by learning how to grow in hydro systems first? Fucking throw them in dirt and do a couple that way, the plants react much much slower to nutes, so if you fuck up it lets you know over the course of a couple days instead of hours, easier to recover from a slow rolling problem than it is from an explosion of problems. I know you think that hydro is going to give you bigger yields in a shorter time, but thats only if you know what you are doing. Put them in dirt next time, you'll do much better!

I hope your next experience is better, I'm about to move operations from doing outside to inside and I'm hoping that I can avoid similar problems to what you have had, it would gut me to go through what you have so I really feel for you mate...

I've got a lot of lady bugs outside around the house as I've got a spectacular rose bush that is in flower all year round and they get fed well on little pests...

Yea I figured, strange you got spidermites with Hydro though. Whats your medium? By sitting in water you mean the leaves were under water? Either way you just had a shit load of problems. I will tell you this, now that you have gone through the hydro experience dirt will seem like childs play to you. Its worth looking into. I've done Hydro/bubbleponics/dirt. Dirt by far is the easiest/cheapest.

Fuck dirt. Hydro is a learning experience. One of my plants actually was in dirt, still lost it. My first grow put out some amazing buds, just not a lot of them. I will start from scratch and learn from this...peace out.

The mistakes I make haunt me to no end. I never forget a fuck up. But I can't stop growing. I'm addicted. So I just clear my head and move on.
