no its not sealed room, I have the window open in the room to let cool air in, but tis just not enough. I live in a complex with central air but I cannot put a window unit in that room as its not allowed. I looked into a portable ac but cant find a cheap one anywhere...

the room is vented blowing all the air from the light out thru a 440cfm fan and the room is 7x10...any ideas to cool anything? is there anyway to switch the light cycle to at night without making them hermies?

you can switch the light cycle by keeping the lights on for 24 hours then back off, its the twelve hours dark they need , not the amount of light hours..

Dont switch the light cycle, they may hermie or try reverting back to veg. Are you checking the ph and ppm? Is there anyway to close the vents of some rooms and lower the thermostat?

hmmm idk what to do...there is only 1 vent going into the room maybe i can shut it all off and run the ac solely in there during day..this sucks

ph i keep at 6.5
ppm are 1400

my last crop hermied on me and i dont want to risk iut..i got 6 that i vegged over 3 foot i hate to have any issues they look fantastic right now..i tied them up but rather fix the problem then nurse it

Humidity looks good, temp looks bad. 85 is max, not 95. they probably are getting heat shock during the day and perhaps too much water. get another fan and make sure your lights go on at night and off during the day. Unfortunately you have to change your cycle slowly so increase or decrease the light time by and hour (but no more) everyday until you get the lights off during the day.

Dont water your plants for a day to let the soil dry then re-pot them. Add guano and some sand to the soil your using and water them thoroughly with clean water and water sparingly upping the nutes back to normal after a few days.

Your plants should start growing mad after 4-5 days.

flowering marijuana plants SUCK water-

that being said, 90+ temps with only 2 gallons very other day isn't even close. the problem is that your soil is never reaching adequate moisture content before all the transpiring they're doing.

i run 10 gallon pots and that combats moisture loss, but i also make it rain, which basically involves soaking the plant through about every 4 days.

do your buckets have drain holes? a typical watering regimen involves watering to substantial runoff.

they were under watered.

how should i schedule my watering and nuting now would you guys think? nute 2 gallons one day then water only a gallon a day next 2 days then 2 gallons water nutes? they do have water holes in bottom i found that 2 gallons added soaked it enough and the water floods out the bottom into the overfill tray so i stuck with that

why would i want to repot them?

as for switching light cycle do you think there is any chance of hermy at going hour by hour daily until there fully switched?

repot them for more water capacity. second question makes no sense to me.

"Unfortunately you have to change your cycle slowly so increase or decrease the light time by and hour (but no more) everyday until you get the lights off during the day. "

the poster above you said i change light schedule by gradually doing it day by day until its switched, is there any chance of hermy ? or will the heat stress hermy them anyway?

I wouldnt repot in flower. the plant is growing buds and not concentrating on the roots, it will also stress the plant a little. Dont change the light cycle. Plan ahead better for next grow. Get fans and whatever else to get the temps down

you can get a portable a/c used on craigslist anywhere from 100 to 250.

my a/c went out on the hottest day recently. even bringing in outside air was pointless.it got up to 96 in the room my plants got all limp and the buds got soft as if i already cut em down. luckily one of my friends let me borrow his portable and it saved everything. within a couple hours everything was doing good. buds were tight again. got the temp down to 75. it was so happy after all the drama
