I plan on attending, I was just there getting a lay of the land, no you cannot purchase a liscense that I am aware of, they are pretty shitty about that, you can have an oz of weed on you, there are limited places you can smoke. One thing I did notice tho, Coloradans are pretty proud of their MMJ laws and there were people that were volunteering me to ride with me places to "smurf" for me for a gram of some bud. I hope this helps and hope to see you at the event!

This I know but how do you purchase it there now if you are not a Colo Med ID card holder? I haven't read anywhere how they are distributing. Could someone from Colo please chime in and enlighten me?
Retail shops for recretional users hasn't even opened up in Colorado yet they should be opening up by 2014

That's kinda what I was thinking which kinda puts me out this year as I really don't want to drive and I am too much a pussy to fly with flowers.

Thanks for the info.

BUT, since it's being heavily advertised.........I expect a LARGE Federal presence there and I suspect busts will be made in some form or another. I have an number of friends living in Denver and they don't want to be within 5 miles of the event.

Bleeds I'm under the impression that even though the retail shops havn't opened up, that the vendors will be giving away flowers with other purchases. They can't sell it directly but I believe it can be gifted between individuals. I'm fully expecting to be able to find herb when I get there, I'll be highly surprised if not. There hasn't been a major city I've been to I wasn't able to score within a couple hours, and I gotta think it will only be easier with the laws the way they are.

Why would there be any more feds there then the LA cup a few weeks ago, or the denver medical cup the last 3 or 4 years. I'm not saying they won't be there, but something like this seems like a waste of resources. There will be tons of smokers and such, but I doubt even the vendors are gonna have weight on them to keep themselves safe. I could be wrong and truely hope there isn't an issue while I'm there.
