First time grower/first plant


female seed randomly found and this is what it grew....no clue what it is def sativa of some kind due to the narrow leaves...

any guesses as to the kind of bud? also how many weeks until they start to turn amber from white?

It is not a pure sativa. There is definitely a lot of indica influence. I think you're gonna have some awesome smoke, regardless of what it gets called.

There are leaves in the pics that have fat blades and the flower conformation is more dense indica style than open, airy sativa.

I think Bob is right. The big wait now for the color change. All ya can do is check every day and wait.

Sorry there is really no way to know how much bigger the buds will get or a time line for color change? Also can fan leaves be taken off or is that a no no?

In general, that is correct. However, hybrids containing both types can look like one and smoke like the other. Your pics definitely look like they favor the indica type to me. Bottom line is how you like the smoke. It doesn't really matter what you end up calling it at this stage.
