3x4 Grow Cab

So I want to make a box 3'x4', but I don't know exactly what I need to do for ventilation and what not. I have a 400W HPS light going in it. Any help would be appreciated, because I'm going to home depot today or tomorrow to get all the supplies. The main thing i'm worried about is ventilation and cooling the light.

For Proper ventilation you will need an inlet fan rated to 60 CFM and an exhaust fan with attached carbon filter rated at 120 cfm. Figure out what fans your going to use before you build the box so that like that you know what size holes to make in your grow box. If heat is a problem make sure to leave a hole for an Air Conditioning Duct

Well I made the mistake of ordering my 400W HPS system without the aircooled hood. I can send just the hood back and get a new one sent back for another $69 dollars or do you think if I have a 6" Vortech fan hooked up to a carbon filter as my outlet and then drilled a 4" hole for it to pull air in would that work? Also I would have two fans in In the box, One blowing air on the light and the other more toward the plants. Do you think my temperatures will be ok? Also what should humidity be at... it's 50% in my closet by right now.

is your hood vented? does it have glass in it ? home depot doesnt have a to good exhaust fans , there low cfm and dont have much draw as a canfan or ecoplus will work alot better for you. good luck.. look at www.ngw.com once.
