Hey folks. So, i got this idea Im going to build 3 light panels, each with 100 3W diodes.
What im having a problem with, is driver selection, and understanding volts, amps, watts,
Each diode : 3.4 -3.6V- 700MA
So, 300 diodes would be 1080 volts needed?
or is it 210 amps?
Or is it 900 watts?
So, 3 panels, each would be 100 diodes, = 360 volts = 70 Amps = 300 watts
So, the driver selected, I need 2 for each panel @ 40amps each, ? but 480watts?
Isnt that 180 more watts then the actual 3W diode needs?
Like a 5yr old, tell me what Im missing here will ya,lol.
Thanks
