Ballast: Lumatek Dimmable 1000w
Soil: Fox Farm's Happy Frog
Veg Fert: Jack's Classic Orchid Special 30-10-10
Flower Fert: Jack's Classic Blossom Booster 10-30-20
strain: big bud from bag seed

I've only feed the jacks veg food 3 times, before that I was using Floranova Grow, and it was cuasing lots of issues. Since switching to Jack's, everything is perfect now. I'll be vegging for another 2~ weeks or so before switching to 12/12

feel free to comment ;]

So this is the plant that you're promising will blow all us 'noob's away huh?

Really?

Having grown plenty of fine plants- that looked just like this one at their time, what do you think makes this one soo special?

I mean it is a stretched out bagseed, is it not?

Do you expect some miracle from your 10$ fertilizer... Don't get me wrong, i am all about going cheap- but to go cheap and then gloat that you'll beat the rest of us, is beyond arrogant.

I will certainly stay tuned to this promised grow.

Its not the fertilizers, its your attitude.

Dont come on here saying you're gonna blow people away, and then post a meeger at best photo of a stretched bagseed.

I am wishing you luck and will be here to help. But before people sign on to your journal- you're gonna need to change your attitude and accept the fact that you're here for help and likely will not be blowing anything other than your own semi-decent first harvest. Don't expect more than that. I didn't my first time. Again I recommend you read my journal- alot of people helped me, and i learned a lot.

these are 5 gallon pots, the last ones were only 1 gallon I think. look at the clear pot holder thing :P

I topped them already, hard to see but there are 4 main branches on each plant

Definitely great structure- it looks as if they are already outgrowing those big new pots. Have you trimmed off some of the lower branches?

looking nice. How high is your light. oh, nm, it's a 1000W right?

I'm not a soil guy (much) but I like cheap ferts. I know Uncle Ben likes Jack's. .

I have not trimmed anything. I'm going to completely leave the plant alone in that regard. I feed them about every 3-4 days, and right now I'm still using 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of the 30-10-10 with each watering.

I'm only using Fox Farm's Happy Frog soil.

There's nothing wrong with bloom booster.It's a perfectly worthwhile nute.With better lighting(I don't know what you're using)they wouldn't look so streched.

I have a 1000w that is about 6 inches away. It stays very very cool, I can almost touch the bulb with my hand and it won't burn at all.

I'll be switching to the bloom booster in about 2 weeks after the stretch ends. I think it's mostly the strain that is causing the stretch, but I could be wrong.
