3600w 5 strain recirculating hempy

I'd like to thank everybody again for the input on my last journal. The outcome would not have been the same without you guys.
I went all out on this one, a couple friends wanted me to grow for them after the last grow so I had a slightly bigger budget
I have 6-600w lights with cool tubes and electronic dimmable ballasts. I have the room sealed up almost to the back wall and have the fan pulling air from the window through the tubes. The room stays at about 80-85 degrees depending on the outside temps with all the lights on.


I have 4 blue dream, 4 afgoo, 2 orange blossom, 1 g-13 and 1 great white shark in 10 gallon Rubbermaid totes. I'm still figuring out the res situation but right now I have two separate reservoirs, one for the sativa side of the room and one for the indica side.

Thanks guys! And yes, I keep the lights high because there is really no point in moving them. Plus it gives me a little room to move around if I need to get in there.

Nice! I did a DWC Hempy once under just an aircooled 400 and it did pretty well..

Thanks Dave, I'm hoping this grow goes at least as good as the last. I'm having a pest issue right now though. I'm gonna go take a few pictures to see what you guys think.

I took a few shots of the little bastards that are running around in the perlite, let me know if you recognize them or have a good solution. I'm gonna go to the hydro store today to see what they have for pest control. I'm gonna be veging for another week or so and I'm pulling out 2 weaklings that aren't looking too hot so I can put 2 in the back under a 600 each. I hope this doesn't set me back too much.

I might start a new thread. I had to trash 9 of the girls b/c of a root aphid infestation. 3 of them were horrific, that'll teach me to buy random clones from a dispensary I have my great white, one blue dream and one afgoo that were somehow untouched. I'm gonna go buy a few older starts today. I'm gonna pick up another orange blossom, a Dutch treat(same as last) and a Chernobyl to fill the room. Going with a separate res/pump for each.

Hey Rubix! I was away from RIU for a while and am just getting caught up... Have you started a new grow after this? I'm looking forward to watching your next one, since your first turned out so great. I hope you'll be doing another journal soon. I'm starting a new one with a slightly larger growing area and a second light. Link is in my signature...
